Deputy Valencia was called upon to investigate a narcotics voilation at the 1500 block of State Road 502. I white in color pill identified as Oxycodone was located. Suspect admitted to having the narcotic and will be subsequently charged.

Victim reports someone burglarized his residence between 3:00pm and 3:30pm on March 22, 2013 and stole several items, including rims, hunting knives, and a CB radio. A male subject was seen at the residence during the same time frame, posing as an inspector for a finance company. No other suspects were known at the time of report.

Suspect: Carrie Barber Age: 48 Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Los Pinos Rd and learned that Carrie Barber had threatened a household member with a large kitchen knife during an argument. Barber was arrested and booked accordingly.

On 03-23-13 at approximately 7:49pm, a traffic stop was conducted on a 1988 blue Toyota truck bearing NM JAB826. The vehicle was stopped for failing to maintain it's lane of travel. During the course of the stop, the driver was found to be in possession of marijuana and rolling papers. The driver was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

On Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 4:17 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and failed to negotiate a left curve. As a result the vehicle left the roadway on the right side and struck a guardrail. The vehicle sustained heavy damage to its right front. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater. The suspect was uninjured as a result of the collision.
