Charges: Agg DWI, Use of mutiple-beam road lighting equipment, Driving while license suspended or revoked, Unlawful use of license, and Evidence of registration to be signed
Deputy observed a red in color Chevrolet S-10 traveling southbound at the above location. Above driver was stopped after he failed to dim the bright lights to his truck upon approach of oncoming traffic. The above driver displayed signs of impairment and admitted to consuming 4 mixed alcoholic beverages prior to the stop. Field sobriety test were conducted, where the above driver displayed clues of impairment. Driver was then placed under arrest and refused to submit to chemical testing. Suspect's truck was seized as per the Santa Fe County DWI Seizure ordinance. Suspect was booked and charged according at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without further incident.
