Victim reported to Deputies that she had been involved in a dispute with her boyfriend. Vicitm stated the dispute became physical and he refused to allow her to leave. Victim was able to get away and called for assistance. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Lionel J. Martinez, age 21, Chimayo, NM
Charged: Assault
On 5/21/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to an assistance with neighbor. Victim stated that the suspect threatened to shoot his head off with a gun. Victim stated that suspect threatened to get his gun from his vehicle which was parked in the front yard. Suspect then proceeded into the residence. Deputy arrived on scene and made contact with suspect who was intoxicated. Suspect corroborated victim's story but denied the gun threat. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Location: residence off of Salako Way, Santa Fe, NM (Off of Camino La Tierra)
On 5/21/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a larceny. Victim stated that sometime between 2/28/13 and 3/8/13 a camera was stolen from inside her residence. Victim stated that she believes that a caretaker might of stolen the camera. Estimated value of the camera is $699.99.

Location: East Pine and South Fork
Arrested: Mario Menjivar, 22-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 05-21-13 at about 12:30AM Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle that had been reported as suspicious and driving reckless in the area of Juniper Road and South Fork. The vehicle fled from Deputies who located it a short time later after it crashed near the intersection of East Pine and South Fork. The above defendant along with another passenger and the driver were observed fleeing on foot from the vehicle. The defendant was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

Damaged: Slight damage to exterior door, value unknown
On 05-20-13 at about 9:56PM an unknown suspect attempted to entered the victim's residence by prying open the back door. The suspect finally gained entry through an unlocked window. The victim was home at the time and hid in the garage until Deputies arrived on scene. Upon Deputies arrival the suspect had already fled the scene on foot and was not located. The victim reported the suspect stole misc. jewelry from the home.

Location: Lucero Road El Dorado- Santa Fe County NM
On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (67 year old male) was found unresponsive by a neighbor. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was but appears to be of natural causes. There were no signs of foul play at the scene.

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (39 year old male) was found unresponsive by friends and family. It was determined that the victim succombed to injuries as a result of a natural (Weather related)/catastrophic event. There were no signs of foul play at the scene.

Charged: Battery on a household member
On 5/20/13 deputy responded to above area in reference to a domestic dispute. Victim and suspect were involved in a verbal argument about money. Victim pulled vehicle over at above location in which the suspect then struck victim in the face. Victim had red discoloration in the face area. Suspect was arrested, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: Avenida De Ricardo (La Cienega area)
On this date Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a death investigation. The victim (32 year old female) was found by family member unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics arrived on scene CPR was not conducted. There did not appear to any signs of foul play at the scene, and death is unknown at this time. This incident is currently under investigation the Sheriff’s Office.
