On 5/26/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a criminal damage to property. Victim stated that an acquaintance of his who is the suspect showed up at his residence and became upset because victim would not help him out. Victim stated that suspect threw large rocks at victim's vehicle causing damage to the rear window and various dents on the vehicle. Estimated damage amount is $1200.00.

Charged: Fraud, Computer Access with intent to defraud
On 5/25/12 deputy was dispatched to above address in reference to a fraud. Victim stated that she had gone online to pay her bills and while looking at her bank statement she noticed that several unauthorized transfers were made. Victim stated that she contacted her bank which they advised her that her son had access to her account. It was learned that her son, Alex transferred over $1800.00 from her account to his account. Suspect admitted to transferring the funds. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: US Highway 84/285 Northbound at mile post 170
Deceased: Mark Martinez, 41-year-old male from Espanola N.M.
On 05-26-2012 at about 9:46AM Mr. Martinez was operating his 1991 Hardley Davidson motorcycle Northbound on US 84/285 around mile post 170, when for reasons unknown he lost control and crashed. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He died on scene due to injuries sustained during the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

Location: 27283 W. Frontage Road, Santa Fe, NM (Leonora Curtain Wetland Preserve)
On 5/26/12 deputy was dispatched to an auto burglary. Victim stated that between the hours of 0800 and 0900 unknown persons broke into her vehicle by damaging the driver's side window. Victim stated that the suspects took a red in color coin purse which contained $2.50 in loose change. Victim stated that the suspects caused about $1000.00 worth of damage to the window and that glass was between the paneling and the other windows would not go down.

On 5/26/12 deputy was dispatched to an auto burglary. Victim stated that between the hours of 0830 and 0945 she and her husband were in the petroglyphs hiking. Victim stated that when they returned they noticed the driver's side passenger window shattered. Victim stated that the suspects took her green and white purse which contained 3 credit cards, $200.00 in cash, a silver necklace, a cell phone charger, 2 pair of prescription glasses, sunglasses, and her driver's license. Victim stated that she was cancelling her credit cards and was advised that there were a few transactions at a couple convenience stores in the amounts of $102.00 and $107.00. Estimated value of the items taken is $525.00. Estimated damage amount is $200.00.

Suspect: Samuel Gooding, age 29, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon
On 5/25/12 deputy was dispatched to Double Arrow Road to meet with the victim who stated that he was out for a run. Victim went onto the above property to run up the hill. Suspect advised victim to leave the area. Victim was leaving the property and suspect pulled up beside him at the entrance to the property and pulled out a weapon. Victim stated that the suspect pointed the weapon at him. Suspect advised victim to stay off of his property. Suspect stated that he did not point the gun at the victim. Suspect stated that he showed the victim the gun because the suspect was causing a disturbance and waiving his hands. Deputy did observe a no trespassing sign. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. Victim was cited for Criminal Trespass.

On 5/25/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between the hours of 0730 and 1753 unknown suspects gained entry into her residenceby kicking in the rear door. Victim stated that unknown suspects took a guitar with chrome parts, a tuner, a guitar strap, a red case, a 19" flatscreen TV, a 32" flatscreen TV, 200 DVD's, a Sony stereo, misc. jewelry. Estimate value of items taken is $4,689.00. Estimated damage amount is $50.00.

On 5/25/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to an identity theft. Victim stated that she filed her taxes in February of 2012 and recently received notification from IRS stating she was employed at 2 other locations other than the hotel she worked at in 2011. Victim stated the IRS instructed her to file a report with the local law enforcement agency before they could correct her taxes.

On 5/25/12 deputy was dispatched to a criminal damage to property call that occurred at the above stated location. Victim stated he went hicking at the Black Canyon Trail at about 1200 hours and returned at 1400 hours, to find the top to his convertible slashed. Victim stated that he observed several teenagers in the park who were on a field trip and believes one of them might have cut the convertible top. Estimated damage amount is $4000.00.

Location: residence in Casitas De Santa Fe Mobile Home Park off Airport Road
On 05-26-2012 at about 2:00AM the homeowner returned home and observed a yound Hispanic male wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts run out the back door of the home. The suspect had entered the home through an unlocked door. The suspect also broke a bedroom window. Nothing was reported missing from the home. Deputies searched the area and did not locate the suspect.
