On 5/25/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to an identity theft.  Victim stated that she filed her taxes in February of 2012 and recently received notification from IRS stating she was employed at 2 other locations other than the hotel she worked at in 2011.  Victim stated the IRS instructed her to file a report with the local law enforcement agency  before they could correct her taxes.

Location:  7300 Hyde Park Road, Santa Fe, NM (Black Canyon Campground)

On 5/25/12 deputy was dispatched to a criminal damage to property call that occurred at the above stated location.  Victim stated he went hicking at the Black Canyon Trail at about 1200 hours and returned at 1400 hours, to find the top to his convertible slashed.  Victim stated that he observed several teenagers in the park who were on a field trip and believes one of them might have cut the convertible top.  Estimated damage amount is $4000.00.


Case#0212007920 / Attempted Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property / 05-26-2012

Location: residence in Casitas De Santa Fe Mobile Home Park off Airport Road

    On 05-26-2012 at about 2:00AM the homeowner returned home and observed a yound Hispanic male wearing a white t-shirt and white shorts run out the back door of the home.  The suspect had entered the home through an unlocked door.  The suspect also broke a bedroom window.  Nothing was reported missing from the home.  Deputies searched the area and did not locate the suspect. 


Case#0212007929 / Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Possession of eight ounces or more of Marijuana, Possession of Dru

Location: residence of Ruta Sin Nombre, Santa Fe

Arrested: Mario Velasquez, 22-year-old male from Santa Fe NM

    On 05-26-2012 at about 3:45AM Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Ruta Sin Nombre in reference to a loud party call.  Upon arrival Deputies could hear loud music comming from the reisdence.  Contact was made with several people outside and inside the residence.  A strong odor of burnt marijuana was detected as Deputies approached the residence.  Several marijuana plants were observed growing in the yard of the residence.  The homeowner, Mario Velasques admitted the marijuana plants were his.  There were 7 juveniles ( 2 males and 5 females) on scene ranging from 15-years-old to 17-years-old who admitted to smoking marijuana with Mario.  A total of 120 marijuana plants along with growing equipment were seized from the property.  Mario was arrested and charged with the above crimes.

Suspect:  Yesenia Cisneros-Villabos, 19, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Criminal Damage to Propedrty of a Household Member

On Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2:46 AM deputies responded to a Domestic Disturbance at a residence at the location.  The suspect had shatterred a window to the residence and then fled the scene.  The suspect was located a short time later in the immediate area of the incident.


Case# 0212007911 Breaking and Entering

Location:  1100 Block of Chacoma Vista, Santa Fe, NM

On Friday, May 25, 2012 at 9:39 PM deputies responded to an Alarm Activation at a residence at the location.  Upon arrival it was discovered that person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means, had shattered a window next to the front door and then opened the door.  Nothing appearred to have been taken from the residence.


Case#0212007917 / Robbery, DWI / 05-25-2012

Location: Riverside Mobile Home Park / Airport Road

Arrested: Jorge Maldonado Contreras, 27-year-old male from Santa Fe

    On 05-25-2012 at about 11:30PM Deputies observed a silver Chevy Malibu traveling Eastbound on Airport Road near Calle Lucia in the left lane.  The vehicle was traveling very slow and had its flashers on.  The driver, Mr. Maldonado-Contreras appeared to be yelling at a female walking on the side of the road.  Contact was made with both parties.  Mr. Maldonado-Contreras claimed the female took his wallet from his back pocket by force while they were attempting to buy drugs in the Riverside Mobile Home Park.  The female was searched and no drugs, wallet or money was found on her, or in the area where she was walking upon contact with her.  Mr. Maldonado-Contreras was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DWI.  He was booked for the DWI accordingly.  Due to lack of evidence and conflicting stories the female was released from the scene.

Location:  Santa Fe County 72A (Windsor Trail Head), Tesuque, NM

Vehicle:  White, 2003, Honda, 4 door

On Friday, May 25, 2012 between 6:00 PM and 8:06 PM, person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means, gained entry to the vehicle, while it was parked at the location by shattering the left front door window.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed a cargo organizer and owner's manuel.


0212007865, Auto Burglary, 5/25/12

Victim reports sometime on 5/24/12 while camping, her 2001 Toyota 4Runner was entered through unlocked door. A purse, camera, cellphone and a small amount of cash is reported missing.  Case is under investigation.


0212007487, Stolen/Recovered Motor Vehicle, 5/25/12

Victim reports her 2001 Toyota 4Runner was stolen from her home late May 24th to early May 25th.  Deputies had already recovered the vehicle at about 0600 hrs which had been crashed and then parked near the intersection of Quail View Lane and West Aameda.  Case is under investigation.
