Arrested: Johnny Young, 66-year-old male from Tesuque N.M.
On 06-13-2012 a welfare check was conducted on Mr. Young who was sitting in his 1983 Jeep, parked on the shoulder of the road. He was found to be intoxicated and admitted driving. Several beers were observed in the Jeep. He failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Victim reported to deputy that on todays date between the hours of 12:00 pm and 1:15 pm, unknown persons gained unlawful entry into her vehicle. Victim stated that the vehicle was parked in the Black Canyon Campground and had the widows open approximately 4 inches. Victim stated that the suspects after gaining entry stole the listed items. Case is still under investigation.

Victim reported to Deputy that she had been contacted by a male claiming to be a relative needing money to visit. Victim sent money via wire and then contacted other family members to verify the suspects claims. Victim was told that suspect who was claiming to be a relative gave false statements and may not have been a relative. Case is under investigation.

Between June 3rd and this date a chrome front grill was forcibly taken from a 2003 Cadillac Escalade that was being stored at this address. The grill is valued at more than $1,000.00. Damage to the vehicle front end occured as well from improperly removing the grill. Case is under investigation.

On 06-12-2012 between the hours of 5:30PM and 10:15PM someone entered the victim's residence by breaking a rear glass door. A lap top computer was stolen from inside the home.

Victim reports sometime between 7:30am and 7:00pm on June 12, 2012 someone gained unlawful forced entry into the above location through the back door. Once inside the above items were stolen. Victim reports there was also damage to fencing surrounding the residence. Case still pending investigation.

On 6/12/12 at approximately 1605 hours, deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to bringing contraband into a place of imprisonment. Reporting party stated that while he was distributing mail to an inmate, he found orange in color papers in a letter addressed to that inmate. The papers were identified as Suboxone. Case is still pending.
