On Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 1:38 AM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation in a vacant lot at the location. The altercation turned physical when the suspect struck the victim with a closed fist and kicked her. The victim was treeated at the scene for minor injuries (contusions and abrasions) and declined further medical attention.

On 10-4-12 Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Rio Vista Run in reference to a domestic dispute. An investigation revealed the above suspect battered her boyfriend with a garden tool. Victim received minor superficial injuries. The above subject was arrested and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Jail

On 10-4-12 Deputies initiated a traffic stop on a passenger vehicle south bound US 84/285 for erratic driving. Deputies found the driver in the vehicle was a victim of domestic battery that occurred while in route toSanta Fe NM. Victim sustained a bloody nose after being slapped/punched in the face inside the vehicle. The above subject was arrested and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Jail

On 10/4/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotics violation. The mail clerk located a letter which was sent to the above suspect. Inside the letter/card were 10 orange strips of Suboxone. Suspect stated that he is a heroin user and that he was not expecting any mail. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center on the new charges.

On 10/4/12 at about 3:08pm, the alarm went off at the above address. Upon my arrival the screen to the screen door was damaged and there was damage to the front door to the residence. Victim stated that 3 jewelry boxes with miscellaneous jewelry, photos and pins were taken. A key to the residence was also taken. Estimated value of the items taken is $9000.00. Estimated damage amount is $250.00.

Arrested: Andrew A Herrera, 21 years old Espanola NM
Victim reported that his residence had been burglarized sometime between 8:30an and 7:45pm on this date. Unlawfully entry was gained by the suspect removing the window screen and entering through the window. The above listed items were stolen and located in the area. Evidence at the scene led deputies to the suspect who was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.
The above listed stole item was valued at about $1000.00

On 10/3/12 deputy conducted a traffic stop at the above location in reference to an expired registration sticker. Upon contacting driver, he was pale and sweaty and had visible track markings. Foil, straws with brown residue were visible on the floorboard of the vehicle. Upon taking the driver out of the vehicle, a plastic baggy fell out of his pants. The baggy contained Heroin. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
