On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (29 year old female) was found unresponsive. It was undetermined at this time what the exact cause of death was but appears to be self inflicted. There were no signs of foul play at the scene.

Arrested: William Casiano, 43-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 03-23-2012 at about 12:22a.m. Mr. Casiano was observed driving his 1991 Ford Explorer in a careless manner on Santa Fe County Road 84. Mr. Casiano refused to bring his vehicle to a stop when a Deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on him. He fled in his vehicle for approximately 1 mile at slow speeds. Mr. Casiano finally stopped his vehicle in the driveway of a friend's house where he was taken into custody. He was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. He was booked accordingly.

On 03-23-2012 at about 1:45a.m. an unknown suspect forced open a rear door of the business causing damage to the door and a stand up freezer. The suspect rummaged through several areas of the business and stole $90.00 from the register. The investigation is ongoing.

On the above date victim reported that his workshop was burglarized between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Unknown suspect gained forced entry through an exterior door of the shop. Suspect removed above items once inside. Suspect is pending further investigation.
