On 8-17-2010 at 2:11 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel and almost struck a Tesuque Tribal Police Department Patrol Vehicle that was on the shoulder of the roadway with its emergency lights activated. The suspect was found to be impaired and refused to submit to a Blood Test. The suspect was not in possession of his valid New Mexico Driver's License at the time of the incident.

License Suspended or Revoked, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility
On 8-16-2010 at 8:43 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater. This was the suspect's fourth DWI arrest. The vehicle was siezed in accordance with the Santa Fe County DWI Vehicle Forfieture Ordinance. There was an open bottle of Crown Royal and and open bottle of Bud Light Beer in the vehicle. The suspect was unable to produce valid proof of insurance. A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's Li cense is revoked with the arrest clause attached unless he is operating a vehicle equipped with an Ignition Interlock. The Ignition Interlock in the vehicle was disconnected and non-operational at the time of this incident.

Victim reported that on this date some time between 12:00noon and 1:30pm some unknown person unlawfully entered victim’s vehicle and stole the above listed as it was parked at the above location. The items stole were valued at about $355.00

On 8/16/10 victim advised that between 1000 and 1649 hours her residence was burglarized. Victim stated the suspects took her 32" Sony Bravia TV, a set of Bose speakers, Macbook pro laptop, Mac notebook laptop, Wii gaming system, Sony DVD player, silverware, bottle of vodka, Sony playstation, 5 Wii games, $500.00 cash, and a comforter. Victim stated suspects entered through a kitchen window. A safe was pried open and damaged. Estimated damage amount is $100.00. Estimated value of items taken is $5,405.00.

On above date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. Upon arrival the victim (32 year old male) was found deceased in his bedroom. It was determined that the victim died of natural causes. Victim had a lengthy medical history.

Charged: Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, Arrest Order-Violation of Probation
On 8-15-2010 at 11:35 PM the suspect was contacted by deputies during a motorist assist at the location. During this contact it was learned that the suspect is on probation and should not be consuming alcoholic beverages. There was an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the suspect's breath and there was an open can of beer in the vehicle. When confronted with this information the suspect became physically aggressive towards the deputies. Adult Probation and Parole was contacted and they issued an Arrest Order
0210006770, Battery against a Household Member, 8/14/10

Suspect: Arturo Mendoza Age: 35 Santa Fe
Deputies met with Victim at Santa Fe PD and learned Arturo Mendoza had battered a Household Member. Victim had minor injuries. Mendoza was located at a relative's home and arrested without incident.

Suspect: Matthew Sanchez Age: 23 Santa Fe
Matthew Sanchez was arrested for Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon and Tampering with Evidence after pointing a 9mm handgun at a homeowner, allegedly firing the weapon and then tossing the weapon in an open field where it was recovered.

Victim: 51 year old female
On 08-15-10 at approximately 9:24am, Deputies were dispatched to the above residence in reference to an unconscious female with CPR in progress. Upon arrival, Santa Fe Med 50 was on scene attempting to revive the decedent. However, CPR was stopped after contacting St. Vincent's Hospital. The decedent had a long history of illness. There was no signs of foul play.
