On 2/18/11 deputies were dispatched to 28 Camino Justicia (ADC) in reference to an inmate assaulting another inmate. Victim was in his housing cell with the suspect who then assaulted him during the evening hours of February 16, 2011. Victim was treated by medical personnell at the jail and then transported to St. Vincent Hospital due to needing stitches.Victim had swelling and brusing on his facial area and lacerations on the left side of his head. Suspect was charged with Aggravated Battery and rebooked into ADC.

Victim reported that sometime between 2/17/11 11:00pm and 2/18/11 8:00am some unknown person unlawfully entered the main office by breaking a window. Upon entering the office the suspect stole the above listed items.
The above listed damage/stolen items were valued at about $245.00

Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility
On February 18, 2011 at 12:56 AM the supect was found in physical control of the vehicle as it was stopped in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic, at the location. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test. The vehicle registration was found to be expired and the suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.

On February 17, 2011 at 9:40 PM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the location. The altercation turned physical when the suspect struck the victim in her facial area with a closed fist. The victim sustained no apparent injuries and required no medical attention.

ITEMS STOLEN OR DAMAGED: WINDOW & SCREEN, FLAT SCREEN TV, COINS, LAP TOP COMPUTER, VIDEO CAMERA, WII GAME, PHONE LINE AND POWED LINE. VALUED AT $1,500.00.
ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION VICTIM REPORTED BETWEEN 12:00 AND 3:00 PM THIS DATE SUSPECT (S) FORCED ENTRY INTO HIS HOME BY BREAKING A WINDOW. SUSPECTS THEN REMOVED ABOVE LISTED ITEMS. SUSPECTS ALSO CUT THE PHONE LINE AND THE POWER LINE TO THE AIR CONDITIONER. VICTIM REPORTED WHEN HE ARRIVED HOME HE HEARD A NOISE COMING FROM THE BACK OF THE HOUSE. INVESTIGATION FOUND EVIDENCE AND CASE WILL BE FORWARD TO THE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DIVISION.
