Suspect: Steve Roybal  Age: 57  Santa Fe

Deputies drove upon a multi-car Motor vehicle Crash.  No serious injuries reported however the driver of a White Dodge pick-up, Steve Roybal was found to have driven while his license is revoked for a prior DWI conviction.  He was arrested and booked.  His vehicle was seized pursuant to the Santa Fe County DWI Seizure Ordinance.

On 05-05-10 at approximately 6:15 AM deputies were dispatched to the above location refereence to a female in the middle of the roadway. Upon arrival the suspect got aggressive with the Deputy and was palced under arrest and charged accordingly.

Suspect:  Unknown

On 5-4-2010 between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM person(s) unknown, utilizinfg unknown means gained entry to the vehicle while it was parked at a bussiness at the location.  Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed a set of speakers, an in-dash CD player and amplifier.  Total value of the property is estimated at $1,650.00.  There were no signs of forced entry.  The victim was not sure if the vehicle was secured at the time of this incident.

Charged:  Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit:  Heroin

On 5-4-2010 at 9:00 PM the suspect was being processed at the location.  During this processing the suspect was found to have a substance suspected of being heroin secreted in a body cavity.The substance will be sent to the New Mexico State Police Crime Lab for further testing.
