Suspect; Halbert Martinez Age: 19 Chimayo
Halbert Martinez was arrested for Aggravated Battery against a Household Member and an active Bench Warrant after deputies responde to a report of a Domestic Disturbance. Deputies learned that a household member had been battered by Martinez while in a vehicle causing damage to victim's tooth. He was booked accordingly.

On 01-29-2011 Deputies initiated an investigation into a Sexual Assault that had taken place on a earlier date. Victim ( Age 14-Female) stated suspect ( Age 16- Male) had forced himself on victim, sexually assaulting her. Case is under investigation.

On 1-28-11 deputy was dispatched to the above address. Victim stated that he left his home at 0730 and returned at 1700 hours to find his bedroom window screen on the ground and the window broken. Upon entering his home, he noticed that his 32" Vizio flatscreen TV, a DVD player and a Bose speaker missing. Estimated value of items taken is $605.00.

Location: Residence off of Buster Ridge, Santa Fe, NM (off of Old Las Vegas Hwy)
On 1-28-11 deputy was dispatched to above address in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 0900 and 1600 hours unknown persons entered the residence by kicking the door open. Victim stated that unknown persons took binoculars, a digital camera, a 40" Samsung flatscreen TV, a Sony Bluray disc player, Direct TV box w/DVR, and a Ipod touch. Estimated value of items taken is $3600.00.

Deputy met with victim 3 days after incident occured. Victim wished to report a motor vehicle crash but it was learned that other vehicle involved was driven by victim's brother who was allegedly ramming victim's vehicle after an argument at occured. Case is under investigation.

The listed driver was involved in a single vehicle crash at the listed location. Contact was made with driver and after sobriety tests were given, she was found to be impaired. Driver was then arrested and transported to jail after refusing chemical testing.
