Deputies responded to a cardiac arrest. SFC Medics arrived and attempting life saving measures but were unsuccessful. OMI was called to the scene and no foul play was obsrerved. Case is under investigation.


Case #2026001129, 1130, 1131, 1132/ Aggravated DWI, Open Container, Warrant Arrest x3, Battery on a Peace Officer, Concealing ID, Resisting/Evading

Arrested- Oswaldo Sanchez (44 year old male/ Santa Fe) Charges- Battery on a Peace Officer, Concealing ID, Resisting/Evading, Seatbelt Violation, Warrant Arrest

Arrested- Benigno Garcia-Galcia (37 year old male/ Santa Fe) Charges- Aggravated DWI, Open Container, Warrant Arrest x2

Deputies were given a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) for a vehicle occupied by males attempting to solicit females walking along Cerrillos. Deputy M. Ward located the vehicle on Cerrillos and Siler Rd. The plate that was displayed on the vehicle returned to a different vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants. The passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the stop, refused to identify himself and had to be removed from the vehicle. He resisted arrest but was eventually handcuffed and identified. He was found to have an outstanding felony warrant. While being walked into the SF ADC, he kicked a deputy. Both were booked on the listed charges. 


Case #2026001125/ Driving While License Revoked, Open Container/ 2/23/26

Location- County Road 56B/ Paseo De Canon

Arrested- Ricardo Crespo-Aguina (54 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Deputies contacted Ricardo on a welfare check, and he informed deputies he drove to the location and began drinking. He was found to have a revoked driver's license due to a previous DWI. He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.


Case #2026001126/ DWI, Driving While License Revoked, Careless Driving/ 2/23/26

Arrested- Sean Kelley (40 year old male/ Eldorado)

DEPUTIES WERE DISPATCHED TO A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE IN THE DRIVEWAY OF THE CALLER'S RESIDENCE. UPON ARRIVAL, DEPUTIES LOCATED A VEHICLE CRASHED IN A DITCH IN FRONT OF THE CALLERS HOUSE. THE DRIVER DISPLAYED SIGNS OF IMPAIRMENT AND WAS ARRESTED FOR DWI. DEPUTIES LEARNED THAT THE SUSPECT HAD A REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE DUE TO A PREVIOUS DWI. HE AGREED TO PROVIDE A BREATH SAMPLE AS WELL AS A BLOOD SAMPLE. HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE SFSO WHERE HE PROVIDED BREATH SAMPLES OF .11/.11 BRAC. HE WAS THEN TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE HIS BLOOD WAS DRAWN. HE WAS LATER BOOKED AT THE SF ADC.


Case#2026001116 Burglary 02/23/2026

Stolen: Misc. Tools 

Victim: Alfonso Duran

Deputies arived to the above listed residenec and learned of the following: The listed victim owns the residence but is currently renting it to another individual. The victim arrived at the residence to retrieve tools from sheds located on the property. Upon doing so, the victim observed that numerous miscellaneous tools had been stolen from the sheds. Deputies made contact with the renter of the residence, who denied entering the sheds or taking any tools. At this time, there is no suspect information available.

Location: Calle Del Arroyo, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Miscellaneous Tools ($2000)

On Monday, February 23, 2026, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an after the fact burglary. The victim advised unknown persons gained unalwful access to a shed on the property and stole miscellaneous tools. The timeframe for the burglary was not provided. This case remains under investigation.

Deputies received a call to assist Tesuque Tribal Police on a traffic stop with a non-Native American male. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the driver. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.

Arrested: Andrea Martinez, 35 YOA female, Santa Fe

Deputies received a Be On the Look Out (BOLO) for a vehicle driving recklessly. Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.
