On Monday, September 14, 2026, Nichelle Benavidez-Hamilton was reported missing by her fiancé and her mother from Camino Meliton in Santa Fe County. Nichelle reportedly left behind personal belongings and had not returned to her child. She was last seen in a silver sedan. Nichelle was subsequently entered into NCIC as a missing person.

Arrested: Martinez, Ted L (45 Y.O.M.)
Deputies responded to the location due to a fight. During the investigation, Deputies learned that Mr. Martinez, the father of one of the involved parties, had an active warrant for his arrest. Mr. Martinez was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision. Upon making contact with the driver, Mr. Alarid, of the vehicle involved in the collision. It was learned that his license had been revoked due to a previous DWI. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Deputies were conducting a crash investigation when a vehicle stopped behing a marked patrol vehicle. Contact was made with the driver and open containers were observed. A DWI investigation was completed and the driver displayed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and agreed to submit to chemcial testing. Results were 0.11-0.11. Driver was booked into SF ADC with out incident.

Driver was called in as a reckless driver. Vehicle was located and dirver agreed to SFST's. Driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. Driver agreed to chemical testing and results were 0.19-0.19. Driver was booked into SF ADC with out incident.

During the course of a traffic stop contact was made with the driver, who had an active bench warrant for her arrest for failure to appear. The driver was cited and taken into custody; she was booked at SFADC.

Suspect(s): Amy Sauer (43 YOF) / Marcia Sauer (70 YOF)
Santa Fe County Regional Emergency Communications receieved over ten calls for service from both Amy and Marcia within a six hour period, which were mostly non-emergency. Deputies advised the pair not to contact 911 unless there is a legitimate emergency and to utilize the non-emergency number. Emergency Communications subsequently received another 911 call for service with false information. Both individuals were summonsed.

On Friday, September 11, 2026, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a domestic disturbance call for service. Upon arrival, it was found that the suspect had damaged property of a household member. The suspect also attempted to evade deputies on scene. He was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked accordingly.

On Friday, September 11, 2026, deputies were patrolling the above area when they were observed arguing with someone on the side of the road. During the contact, it was found he had an active bench warrant. After the warrant was found to be valid, he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, where he was booked without incident.
