On 9-8-2010 at 11:35 PM the ssuspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and made a wide radius turn. The suspect was subsequently found to be in possession of suspected heroin along with used syringes and a smoking device with burnt residue.

Victim reported that unknown persons entered his home through an open rear bedroom window. Once inside the unknown suspects took the above items. The burglary took place at some point between on September 8, 2010.

Case Still Under Investigation
Victim was driving his vehicle on US 84/285. After being tailgated for several miles the victim slowed and the suspects passed him, apparently brandishing a handgun. This road rage incident is still under investigation.

Victim reported that on this date she was at the above location walking her dog, when she was notified by a passer by that a male subject was inside of her vehicle. Victim ran to her vehicle and the male subject jumped into a Brown Pontiac Grand-Am and fled the scene with two females. Unlawfully entry was made by breaking the passenger side window. A Beige GMC truck was also seen in the area and was possibly related. The above listed items were stolen valued at about $190.00

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival it was determined that the suspect had left the scene and was located by Hyde Park Rangers. The suspect was given standard field sobriety test and showed several signs of impairment. The suspect admitted to consuming Alcohol beverage. The suspect was arrested and charged with DWI and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 7, 2010 an unknown person(s) entered into a 1995 Toyota Corrola by breaking the drivers side window as it was parked in the parking lot of the above location. Stolen from inside the vehicle was a black purse and wallet which contained 2 Visa Credit cards and a bank card. No suspect or witness information is available at this time.

On 9-7-2010 at 11:49 PM the suspect was operatring the vehicle north at the location when he stopped and made contact with Deputy Nissen who was conducting another Traffic Stop. The defendant was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. The defendant's New mexico Driver's License is also suspended.

On this date a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle in which the suspect was a passenger. During the course of the investigation it was found that the suspect had an active bench warrant for his arrest. Two hypodermic synergies and a metal spoon with dark brown substance was located in the area where the suspect was sitting. Suspect was arrested and charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (86 year old female) was found deceased in her bedroom by a family member. It was determined that the victim died of natural causes, there were no signs of foul play. Victim had a lengthy medical history.
