Sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. today (06-30-2010) an unknown person(s) gained unlawful forced entry into an unoccupied residence through a rear window. Suspect(s) stole a 32" flatscreen TV, 2 laptop computers, a digital camera, $950.00 in cash and the pet turtle. No suspect's or witnesses information is available at this time.

Victim: 69 year old male, Edgewood, NM
On 6/30/10 victim's wife found her husband deceased laying on the floor inside his bedroom. Victim had medical conditions and was seen by his doctor last date. Victim was in the last stages of lung cancer. OMI Granger arrived on scene. No foul play was involved.

Charges: Aggravted DWI, Careless Driving, Open Container
On 6/30/10, Suspect was driving a 1997 Toyota PK, Blue in color, bearing NM plate# GCD-575, and was driving off road, trying to get on the Interstate. Suspect was found to be intoxicated, and was arrested, charged, and booked accordingly. Breath Tests were .17/.15

Stolen: 50 DVD's
Value: $750.00
On 06-30-10 the victim reported that she and her husband had left on 06-24-10 on vacation. The victim reported that they arrived home shortly after midnite on 06-30-10 to find the north facing door open. It appeared that the door had been pryed open with an unknown tool. Once inside the unknown suspect rummaged through the residence. The victim only identified approximately 50 DVD's missing. Suspect information is pending in this matter.

Location of Incident: 281C Juan Medina Road Chimayo, NM 87522
Victim: 64 year old female
On 06-29-2010 at approx. 11:00 a.m. deputies responded to the above location in reference to a deceased female. The investigation showed that the victim had a long medical history and was under physician care. OMI responded to the scene and determined that there were no signs of foul play and the initial cause of death appears to be from her medical history and lack of personal care.

Victim reported that on this date sometime between 8:30am and 5:30pm some unknown person unlawfully entered their residence through an unlocked rear window damaging the window screen. The residence was ransacked but nothing appeared to be missing at this time. Damage to the window screen was valued at about $30.00.

Stolen: $4791.62 credit card charges
Victim reported that sometime between 5/11/10 and 6/16/2010 some unknown person some how obtained his credit card information or a copy of his credit card and made 60 different charges in the Albuquerque area at local gas stations for the total amount of $4791.62. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Victim reported that on this date sometime between 8:30am and 3:00pm some unknown person unlawfully entered his residence and stole the above listed items. Unlawfully entry was gained by kicking open the front door. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

On 6/28/10 victim stated sometime between the hours of 1200 yesterday and 1400 hours today an unknown person burglarized his 1997 Ford Ranger pickup. Victim stated his vehicle was unlocked and unknown person(s) took a cordless drill and a 100 ft. extension cord. Estimated value of items taken is $70.00.

On 6/28/10 victim advised that his 2005 Honda 230CRF Motorcycle was stolen by a friend of his. Victim stated that the suspect took the motorcycle approximately 2 weeks ago. several attempts were made to contact the son who has the information on the suspect. Estimated value of the motorcycle is pending.
