On 8/23/10 victim stated to her mother that suspect put his hands inside her clothing and touched her genital area. Victim's mother stated that when she received the information she contacted law enforcement. The victim was sent over to the Rape Crisis Center. Criminal Investigations was contacted and took over the investigation.

Charged: Battery on a household member, Criminal damage to property of a household member, Resisting or obstructing an officer
On 8/23/10 suspect was arrested after evidence showed he struck victim with a closed fist causing swelling and contusions to her nose and eyes. When contact was attempted with the suspect, he ran out the back door. After a lengthy foot pursuit by several deputies suspect was apprehended. Suspect also damaged victim's vehicle by breaking the mirror. Estimated damage amount is $200.00. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: residence off of Adobe Creek, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque)
On 8/23/10 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival it was deteremined that the suspect attempted to enter the residence by breaking a door lock with a hammer but was unsuccessful. Suspect then removed a piece of wood from a window and gained entry. Suspect then stole an oil painting from the residence. Estimated value of the oil painting is $150.00. Estimated damage amount is $200.00. Suspects vehicle was located in the driveway and his tools were located inside the residence.

Charged: DWI, Roadways laned for traffic
On 8/23/10 deputy was dispatched to the above location in reference to a reckless driver. Vehicle was located by a detective and was failing to maintain its lane. Upon contact with the suspect an odor of an intoxicated liquor was emenating from his person. The suspect showed several signs of impairment during SFST's. Suspect was arrested and read the NM Implied consent and agreed to submit to a breath test. Results were .07, .07.

Location: 4096 Agua Fria, Santa Fe, NM (Agua Fria Village)
On 8/23/10 victim advised that his cinder block wall with stucco was damaged. Victim advised that sometime between 8/20/10 and 8/23/10 a vehicle crashed into his wall causing $3500.00 in damage. A small piece of a grey plastic bumper was located at the scene. Victim did not know who had damaged his wall.

Victim reported hearing three discharges from a firearm in the early morning while she was sleeping. Deputies responded and found two bullet holes in the side of her residence, both having penetrated into the residence. No one was injured by the shooting and no suspects or witnesses have been identified. Investigation is still ongoing.

Suspect - Julio Arellano - Santa Fe, NM
Deputies responded to a domestic altercation at the above location. The suspect fled prior to law enforcement arrival and the victim was found with injuries to her face and head. She reported that her boyfriend punched her twice in the face while she was holding her baby and she fell on the floor. An arrest warrant was obtained for the suspect and at the time of this report, he is still at large.

Victim reported that he had lent out his utility trailer to the suspect last year in July. Every time he asked the suspect to return it he made excuses and would return the trailer. When the Deputy contacted the suspect he claimed that he never used the trailer in question. The victim believes the suspect sold the trailer so he reported it stolen.
