On 08-04-10 at approximately 7:00 am the suspect was seen exiting an apartment that was burglarized and damaged. The suspect who resides there at the apartment complex could not be located. Several tools were taken from the apartment that is being renovated.

On above date deputies were dispatched to above address in reference to an alarm. Upon arrival deputies found the front door forced open. The side door and frame to the residence sustained heavy damage. Victim arrived on scene and did not see anything missing.

Stolen: Kenwood car stereo / Remier-Mosfet
Victim reported that sometime between 7/30/10 and 8/3/10 some unknown person entered his unlocked vehicle and stole the above listed car stereo valued at about $200.00. Victim also wanted to document that his brothers vehicle down the street was stolen in the same time period. His stereo was a Remier-Mosfet car stereo valued at about $250.00

On this date between the hours of 08:00 am and 10:30 am someone gained entry to the victim's residence through an open window. After entry was gained the suspects stole a 42 inch flat screen TV, a laptop computer and miscellaneous jewelry.

Charges: Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle, D.W.I.
Arrested: Victoria Garcia age: 24
On 08-03-10 a traffic stop was conducted on a 1988 Ford Explorer after it was observed traveling without any headlights on Camino Juliana. Contact was made with the driver, who was identified as the above subject. Upon making contact the driver displayed signs of impairment. The driver submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Test and was subsequently placed under arrest. During the investigation the owner of the vehicle arrived on scene and stated that the driver had taken the vehicle without permission. The driver was transported to the Santa Fe County Jail and booked accordingly.
