Arrested: Marcos Sella 58 yoa male Santa Fe

Subject was stopped by Pojoaque Tribal Police for multiple violations. PPD called SFRECC and asked for assistance. Deputies arrived on scene, and conducted field sobrierty testing. Signs of impairment were observed and the subject was arrested. Subject was taken to SFADC without incident.

Location:US 84-285/ N. Shining Sun  Pojoaque 

Arrested: Steven Flores 29 yoa male (Albuquerque)

Pojoaque Police called SFRECC requesting A SFSO deputy when they stopped a suspected drunk driver. Deputies arrived on scene and found the male was stopped for a speeding violation and the subject showed signs of impairment. SFST's were conducted and clues were observed. Subject was arrested and submitted to a breath test which yielded results of over .16. He was arrested and booked without incident. 


Case#2024003022 Warrant Arrest & Possession of a controlled substance 6-15

Location; 4200 block of Agua Fria Road (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Adrian Fierro 32 yoa male 

Deputies contacted Mr. Fierro near his residence and he was found to have an active arrest warrant for his arrest for fail to appear out of Sandoval Magistrate Court. Subject was searched incident to arrest and found to have 30 blue pills that were consistent with fentanyl. He was taken to SFADC where he was booked accordingly. 


Case#2024003020 Agg. DWI 06-14-24

Assigned: Marcus Ward

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: 4800 Block of West Alameda (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Robert Espinoza 34 yoa male (Albuquerque)

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an intoxicated person in their yard. Upon arrival, deputies found the male asleep with the vehicle still in drive. Subject was highy intoxicated and arrested. He provided breath samples above .20. He was booked into SFADC without further incident. 


Case #2024003021 Warrant Arrest 06-14-24

Location: US 84-285 MP 183 (Pojoaque)

Arrested: Madlyn Chavez 28 yoa female (Santa Fe)

Subject was identified during traffic stop and found to have a municipal court warrant for failing to appear. Subject was arrested and taken to SFADC without incident. 


Case# 2024003015/Warrant service/ 6-14-2024

Deputy assigned: F. Villicana

Location: 28 Camino Justicia ( SFSO)

Arrested: D. Arellano 36YOM

Subject turned himself in at the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office, advising he had a warrant for his arrest. The warrant confirmed out of Espanola, for failure to comply with conditions of probation. The original charge was for Aggravated DWI. Subject was picked up, transported, and booked into Santa Fe County ADC.


2024003011/Larceny/ 6-14-2024

Deputy Assigned: J. Barron

Location: 6401 Richards Ave (Santa Fe Community College)   

Victim: Santa Fe Community College 

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a larceny. The reporting party advised when he left work the day before (6/13/2024) he placed several tools in the back of the company golf cart. When he returned to work the next day he noticed the missing tools. It is unknown when the tools were taken and there is no suspect information at this time


Case #2024003012 / Unattended Death / 06/14/2024

Location: Los Pinos Road

Decedent: 67 YOM

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to cardiac arrest.  Upon arrival, medics determined the patient was beyond life-saving measures.  OMI conducted a separate investigation.  There was no suspicious activity identified.  


2024002997/Unattended death/6-13-24

Deputy Assigned: C. Podolak

Location: area of Via Plaza Nueva

Deceased: Dallas Paul Mauk 

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to an unattended death. Upon arrival, medics advised the patient was beyond life-saving measures, Family members advised they had not had contact with Mr. Mauk for at least two days. There were no signs of foul play and OMI was contacted. 


Case #2024002991 / Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle - Breaking and Entering / 06/13/2024

Location: 4400 Block NM-14

Victim: Red Line Excavating Inc.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle in progress. The victim stated he observed a male drive his water truck off his property onto NM 14. The victim stated the suspect could not release the vehicle's breaks so he got out of the vehicle and fled on foot. The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his 30’s approximately 5’ 6”. The vehicle was recovered.
