Victim reported that on this date at about 12:30pm he was harassed by the suspect at the Santa Fe Community College. Victim stated he left and upon arriving at the Casitas Mobile Home Park at about 2:00pm the suspect pulled his vehicle in front of the victim causing the victim to stop his vehicle. A female got out of the suspect vehicle and began attacking the victims. The male victim then state the male suspect pulled out what appeared to be a flat head screwdriver and began swinging it and stabbed the victim on the left side of the waist and behind the head. The suspect male then threw a bottle threw a neighboring mobile home window. The suspects then fled the area. This incident is currently under investigation by the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office.

Location: CF Collision/ West Frontage Road, Santa Fe NM

 

Vitcim reported that sometime between 1200hrs aon 9/24/08 and 1830hrs some unknown person(s) stole a wallet containing 2 credit cards belonging to her from her wallet. Before the victim noticed the cards missing the suspect(s) used them in different areas throught Santa Fe.

On this date deputies responded to a unattended death. It was reported that the deceased suffered from terminall lung cancer. A Do Not Resuscitate order was on scene and there were no signs of foul play.

Location : Griego Hill, Santa Fe NM

 

Victim reported that on this date she was given a ride to the bank to cash a check. Upon returning to her Niece's house she stepped out of the vehicle and left the area, victim noticed that she was missing $940.00 in cash from her purse. Victim returned to her niece's house but everyone there declined taking the money.

Location: El Rancho, NM

The victim, age 25, reported she was sexually assaulted at a party by an unknown Mexican male. The report was referred to the Criminal Investigation Division and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Victim reported that on 9/24/08 at about 12:20pm she arrived at her parents house, and discovered a gold Honda Accord parked in the driveway. Victim realized that no one was home and she called 911. Victim saw the vehicle leave the area with a male subject driving the vehicle. Victim stated several itmes had been stolen, a .22 cal rifle a black safe box, an X-Box, and a knife.

Victim Reported that sometime between 9/12/08 and 9/22/08 some unknown person(s) entered his residence and stole a cashiers check written for $4000.00. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

Victim reported that between the 1700hrs and 0600hrs on 9/24/08 some unknown person(s) cut the gate at the Maloof warehouse, and the lock on a tractor trailer and stole 19 cases of beer. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff's Department.

Victim reported that sometime between 9/17/08 and 9/23/08 6:30 a/m some unknown person(s) burglarized his garage and stole $2800.00 in stereo and audio equipment.

Suspect/arrest: Mario Cortez-Del-Cid age 26

Charges: DWI, Driving on roadways laned for traffic

On 9/25/08, 12:18am, suspect was driving a 1992 Honda Accord, and was stopped because he failed to maintain lane and crossed over 3 times. Suspect was also driving 10mph below the speed limit. Suspect failed field sobriety tests and was arrested charged accordingly. Breath test were .07/.07
