On Friday, January 13, 2023, deputies responded to the above location for a report of an inmate found in possession of narcotics. During the course of the investigation, it was learned the inmate was in possession of fentanyl and cocaine. She was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Arrested: Michael Lopez, 34 YOM
On Friday, January 13, 2023, deputies were patrolling the above area when they observed a previously reported stolen vehicle. The vehicle was confirmed to be stolen. During the course of the investigation, the above male was identified as being in possession of the vehicle. He was placed under arrest without incident. He was then transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility and he was booked accordingly.

On Friday, January 13, 2023, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a male who was not conscious and not breathing. Upon arrival, it was discovered the male had passed away. OMI was summoned and they observed no signs of foul play. Deputies also did not locate anything suspicious about the male's passing. The death is believed to be from natural causes.

Deputy responded to the scene of an accident where the driver fled the scene. driver to the vehicle was located and standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered. Signs of impairment were observed and the driver was arrested. She was transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center where she was booked.

On 1-13-2023 deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving the wrong way on the off ramp to Exit 299 on Interstate 25. Driver showed signs of impairment, he was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC.

CHARGES: FTA- ORIGINAL CHARGES- SHOPLIFTING (OVER $500 BUT NOT MORE THAN $2500), SHOPLIFTING, RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY (OVER $500-BUT NO MORE THAN $2500) AND CONCEALING ID.
Upon conducting a follow-up investigation on a crash in the neighborhood, Pennie Leah Soto was found to have the above warrants for her arrest. Soto was taken into custody without incident. Soto was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
