Victim reported sometime between 11:15 AM and 12:20 PM and today's date, unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry and damaged her vehicle window. While inside the vehicle, suspect(s) stole the above mentioned items. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: David Tran, 32-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 5-10-21 deputies received a report of a reckless driver traveling west on Agua Fria in a silver Honda Accord. Deputies located the vehicle near the intersection of Lopez Lane and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, Mr. Tran displayed signs of impairment and a DWI investigation was conducted. As a result of the investigation Mr. Tran was placed under arrest and agreed to a breath test. Test results showed him to have a breath alcohol concentration of over twice the legal limit.

Deputies were dispatched to the above residence in reference to a welfare check. The reporting party hadn`t heard from his friend over the weekend and wanted Deputies to try and make contact with him. Deputies found a male deceased in the bathroom. No signs of foul play. OMI Stated the death was natural.

Location: NM-14/ E. Frontage Road
On the above date the above listed vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver and passenger where subsequently arrested for narcotics violations. Both the driver and the passenger are felons, (through a criminal history check) and two firearms (handgun and shotgun) were located in the vehicle. Both the driver and passenger were arrested and booked into ADC. The driver was on probation for burglary and is now revoked.

Arrested: 19-year-old Joseph Garcia from Abique N.M.
On 5/9/21 Mr. Garcia was involved in an altercation with family members. During the altercation he battered a family member by kicking them. He then armed himself with a shotgun and assaulted 1 family member and 2 other people. He was arrested and booked on the above charges.

On 5/8/21 a mother reported her 8-year-old daughter disclosed she had been sexually assaulted by an adult male family member. The investigation is ongoing.

The suspect was found living in and stealing items from a camper on the victims property. The suspect was located in the camper at the time of the call. The suspect also had an outstanding warrant. The suspect was booked accordingly.
2021004013/ AGG. ASSAULT WITH DEAD WEAPON X 2

SUSPECT: MICHAEL ROMERO- 19 YEAR OLD HISPANIC MALE
On 5/8/2021 shortly after midnight, a Santa Fe County Sheriff's deputy was flagged down by the occupants of a motor vehicle near the above intersection. The occupants gave a description of a vehicle, driven by the above suspect, known to them as Michael Romero. The occupants explained Romero had fired several shots from a firearm at them as he drove past them.
Within minutes Santa Fe County Sheriff's deputies located Romero in this described vehicle and after an investigation; Romero was subsequently arrested on multiple charges. Romero was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident.

Deceased: 62=year-old female
On 5/8/2021 a family member found the deceased in her bedroom. She was last seen alive the night prior. She suffered from several medical conditions and there was nothing suspicious surrounding her death.

Suspect: Pending Investigation
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a burglary. Once on scene it was learned that an unknown suspect gained entry into a residence through a window. Victim indicated that several cameras, a chainsaw and a safe with jewelry were taken from the residence. Victim also indicted that he located his pet cat and two of his canines deceased at the location and the animals may have been poisoned by the suspect. The case is under investigation.
