On Friday, May 15th, 2020 deputies responded to the above area in reference to a not conscious/not breathing male. The investigation revealed the victim had passed away. OMI was summoned to the scene to assist in the investigation. No foul play is suspected at this time.

On Thursday, May 14th, 2020 deputies responded to the above location in reference to a theft of a motor vehicle. The victim advised the above listed vehicle was stolen from the area between May 7th and May 13th. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen and no suspect information is available at this time. This case remains under investigation.

The investigation revealed the suspect was found in possession of Suboxone, for which he did not have a prescription for. The suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Subject was recognized as a individual with a warrant. Contact was attempted and the Subject fled on foot northbound toward the Santa Fe River. He was apprehended and taken into custody without incident. He was booked on an active District Court warrant and a San Miguel County Magistrate Court Warrant.
