Deputies responded to the location for a domestic. During the arrest of the suspect for criminal trespass, he battered two deputies and was booked and charged accordingly.
Case #2025007352 Aggravated stalking, Battery against a household member, Interference with communications

Arrested: Richard Garcia. 35 YOM, Espanola
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Deputies were advised the victim was struck by the suspect during an argument. The victim was also found to have an active restraining order against the suspect. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
Case #2025007358 Battery against a household member

Arrested: Ray Smith. 44 YOM, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Deputies were advised the victim was struck by the suspect during an argument. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
Case #2025007348/ Unattended Death/ 12/19/25

Location- Povi Pin Poe (Nambe)
Deceased- 41 year old male/ Nambe
Deputy Vega was dispatched to a residence in reference to an overdose. The calling party advised she went to run errands, and when she returned to the residence, she found her boyfriend unconscious. She gave him 5 doses of Narcan and began CPR after calling 911. Medics arrived on scene and began life saving measures. However, they were not able to revive the male. Deputy Vega located drug paraphernalia near the deceased indicating it was likely an overdose. No foul play was suspected, and OMI was called to the scene.
Case #2025007346/ Aggravated DWI (4th Offense), Speeding, Red Light Violation/ 12/19/25

Arrested- Devona Alejo (32 year old female/ Santa Fe)
A deputy observed a vehicle speeding on Cerrillos and proceed to run a red light. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and deputies contacted the driver, Devona Alejo. She displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. She was transported to the SFSO where she provided a breath sample that was .16 or greater BRAC. Devona has at least 3 prior DWI convictions so she was charged with a felony aggravated DWI.
Case #2025007341/Aggravated driving while under the influence/12-18-2025

Location: Plaza La Prensa, Santa Fe, NM
Arrested: Perez, Brandon, 29 YOM
On Thursday, 18 December 2025, Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The above mentioned driver had an odor of alcohol and was asked to perform field sobriety tests. Signs of impairment were observed and the driver was arrested for DWI. Driver informed Deputy there were handguns in the vehicle which were seized as evidence. Driver later provided a breath sample which was above the legal limit. Driver was transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center where he was booked into jail accordingly and without incident.
Case #2025007338/Possession of a Controlled Substance/12-18-2025
Assigned: Deputy D. Hernandez

Location: Cities of Gold Rd., Pojoaque, NM
Arrested: Nicholas Alley, 47 YOM
On Thursday, December 18, 2025, Deputy was dispatched to the above location to assist the Pojoaque Police Department. The driver was found to have a revoked driver's license, due to a previous DWI. When the male was asked to step out of the vehicle he refused. After removing the driver from the vehicle, he was arrested and while conducting a search of his person a white powder substance was found. The white powdery substance was field tested and showed positive for Ketamine. The male was transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center where he was booked accordingly and without incident.

Deceased: 74 Year Old Female
Deputies responded to the scene and spoke to EMS, who advised no signs of life were observed. The deceased suffered from medical conditions and passed away of natural causes. Foul play is not suspect at this time.

Location: Estrellas De Tano
Deceased: 81 Year Old Male
Deputies responded to the scene and spoke to EMS, who advised no signs of life were observed. The deceased suffered from medical conditions and passed away of natural causes. Foul play is not suspect at this time.
Case #2025007326/Warrant Service/12/-18-2025

Arrested: Alexus Lewis 23 yof
On 12/17/2025, deputies conducted a traffic stop upon speaking with the driver it was determined the passenger, Ms. Lewis, was the registered onwner of the vehicle. A check of her license revealed she had an active warrant for her arrest. Ms. Lewis was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center and booked accordingly and without further incident.
