Arrested: Matthew Vigil Age: 48 Dixon, NM
Deputies initiated a traffic stop with Mr. Vigil after observing a traffic violation. Upon approach of Mr. Vigil, deputies noticed he was attempting to hide an article in his waist band. Mr. Vigil removed the article after being dmanded too. The article was an amount of controlled substance. Mr. Vigil was removed from the vehicle and was found to be in possession of a firearm which had been reported stolen. Mr. Vigil was arrested and taken to jail where he was booked accordingly.

When confirming her identity it was learned she had an active warrant for her arrest for failure to appear in court on original charge of no insurance. Subject was placed under arrest, transported and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Arrested: Moya, Francisco A. 23 YOM
Deputy attempted to conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Moya after he passed Deputy Vallejo at a high rate of speed on Airport Rd. Moya ignored emergency signals to pull over and continued driving recklessly, driving passed red lights as he fled. Deputy Vallejo did not pursue the vehicle. After sometime passed, Deputy Vallejo located the vehicle parked at the waste treatment plant off Paseo Real and made contact with other staff who confirmed Moya drives the vehicle in question. Before they could locate Moya, Moya got back into his vehicle and drove off in a reckless manner. Prior to Moya taking off, deputies placed a spike strip under his tire. The tire was deflated successfully and Moya was later capture on NM-599 without incident. Moya was placed under arrest and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

A deputy made a consensual contact with a male subject walking along a street. The male was found to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested on the warrant, taken to the hospital for a medical clearance, then booked at ADC.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic violence call. The victim stated that her ex-husband battered her and damaged her vehicle. He left prior to deputies arriving, and he was unable to be contacted. An arrest warrant is pending.
