Arrested: Ashley Archuleta 33 yoa female 

Subject was stopped for a traffic offense and found to have an active warrant out of the Rio Arriba Magistate Court. She was arrested and booked into SFADC without incident.  


Case #2024005042 / ID Theft / 09/24/2024

Victim: 64 YOF

Stolen: Personal Information

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to an ID Theft.  The victim reported she was notified by the Wisconsin Unemployment Insurance Department that someone applied for unemployement benefits utilizing her personal information.   The incident occurred on June 20, 2024 in the State of Wisconsin. The victim's information was discovered on the "dark web".    


2024005034 - Driving while license revoked - Vehicle to be registered 9-23-2024

Supervisor Entering: Lt. Michael Martinez

Location: US 285 East Frontage Road / State Road 106  Espanola, NM

Arrested: Crystal Vigil    Age: 35   Santa Cruz, NM

Deputies initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle after an inquiry displayed the vehicle registration was suspended due to a lack of insurance. Contact was made with the driver, Ms. Vigil and a drivers license inquiry showed her license was revoked due to a previous DWI Arrest. Ms. Vigil was arrested and transported where she was booked accordingly.

 


Case #2024005032 / Burglary - Larceny / 09/23/2024

Stolen: Toolbox with Misc Tools

The victim reported that he noticed his tool shed had been broken in to on September 23, 2024.  Upon investigation, the victim identified that a toolbox with various power tools had been stolen.


Case #2024005023 / Burglary - Larceny / 09/23/2024

Location: Waldo Canyon

Stolen: Battery ($300 Value)

Between September 20, 2024 and September 23, 2024, entry was made into a fenced construction area, where some heavy equipment was stored. The suspect gained entry into the engine compartment of an excavator, disconnected the battery cables and took the battery.


Case # 2024005013 Agg. DWI, Careless Driving 09-22-24

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: Camino Del Rincon (Pojoaque)

Arrested: Daniel "Danny" Mayfield 56 yoa 

At about 6:25 P.M., SFRECC received a report of a white truck which had struck a fence on Camino Del Rincon. Upon arrival, the subject was located at the scene and advised he was going to fast and struck the fence. Deputies noted signs of intoxication and the subject performed SFST's. Subject performed poorly and was arrested. He refused all testing and was arrested. He was medically cleared and taken to SFADC where he was booked accordingly. 


Case#2024005016 DWI 09-22-24

Assigned: R. Blea

Location: Apache Ridge Road (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Anthony Vigil 59 yoa male Santa Fe 

Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in the area of Metate Way and Apache Ridge Road. While en-route SFRECC advised they had history of domestic disturbances at an address near the intersection. A vehicle was observed leaving the address. A traffic stop was conducted in an attempt to locate the disturbance. Contact was made with Mr. Vigil who was involved in the disturbance. He was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages before driving. He submitted to SFST's and was found to be impaired while driving. He was arrested and submitted to testing which revealed a .08, .09 BrAC. He was booked into SFADC without incident. 


Case # 2024000514 Agg. Fleeing, Reckless Driving 09-23-24

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: Interstate 25 

Arrested: Steven Alarid 50 yoa male (Albuquerque)

At about 6:35 p.m.,SFRECC recieved multiple calls of a reckless driver on the Interstate. SFRECC advised the driver of a green Toyota Camry was operating in a reckless manner and trying to hit other vehicles. SFRECC received several calls that the Camry had stopped in the middle of the Interstate and was out of the vehicle and possibly intoxicated and armed with a handgun. The vehicle was located by deputies traveling 20 mph on the Interstate causing a traffic disruption. A traffic stop was attempted and the driver refused to stop the vehicle for appoximately 3 miles. The vehicle was spike stripped and came to a stop near St. Francis Drive. The male was taken into custody. A reporting party had dash cam video showing the vehicle being driven in a reckless manner. Subject was taken to ADC where he was booked accordingly. 


Case #2024005009 / Burglary of a Motor Vehicle - Larceny - Criminal Damage to Property / 09/22/2024

Location: 3000 BLK Agua Fria

Damaged/Stolen: Vehicle door window / Oxygen Generator ($700 Value)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary. The victim reported, while he was attending Mass, his vehicle was broken into and the above item was taken. 


Case #2024005008 / Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon / 09/22/2024

Victim: 56 YOM

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to an aggravated assault.  The victim advised a hispanic male and female in a red in color, Chevy Silverado, attempted to run his vehicle off of the road and then pulled out a gun on him.  The case is pending further investigation
