On Monday May 8, 2017 at approximately 7:59 pm the suspect entered the Family Dollar wearing a black mask, pulled a handgun on the cashier and requested the money from the cash register. The suspect then left the store and walked north of the location where he got into a Blue in color Mitsubishi 4 door and fled the area north. Witnesses at the scene got license plate information and a description of the veicle. A BOLO was issued and the vehicle was located and stopped by RASO north of Espanola. Investigations was called to the scene and took over the investigation.

Victim: 61 Year Old Female
On Monday, May 8th, 2017 at approximately 4:30 pm, I contacted the Victim in reference to an identity theft and fraud. Victim stated on Wednesday, May 3rd,2017, she attempted to take out a mortgage through her bank. Victim said her bank informed her she had an $80 dollar debt in collections for an unpaid bill with Time Warner Cable. Debora said she contacted The Cable Company and they were not able to locate her information, in their system. Victim stated she contacted Lifelock identitiy theft who she currently has services with and they informed her to file a police report. No suspect information at this time.

Arrested: Amanda Gurule, 30-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.
On 5-8-17 at about 8:30am Ms. Gurule was being detained by EM staff after she failed a urinalsis and they observed an anomaly during a body scan. She fled the facility on foot and EM staff gave chase. They caught her in the parking lot and with the help of jail staff she was detained and taken back into custody.

Victim reported sometime between March 26, 2017 and today's date, unknown persons fraudulently used the victims personal information to open accounts for services at different locations. Case is under investigation.

Deputies were dispatched to assist Pojoaque Police Dept. on a traffic stop. Upon making contact with the Pojoaque Officer it was learned the suspect was revoked suspended with an arrest clause. Suspect was booked and vehicle seized per Santa Fe County ordinance.

Case 0217006281 Aggravated Battery Against a Household MemberX2-05/07/17

Victim: 47 Year Old Male
On Saturday, May 6, 2017, at approximately 4:39 PM, Deputies were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a Domestic Dispute. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim who had blood on his face, head and neck and a laceration and swelling on the back of his head. It was found the victim was currently going through a divorce with the suspect and came to pick up his things. While reading paperwork the suspect had given him regarding the divorce the suspect was hit in the head with a hammer by the suspect. The victim fell to the ground where he was hit again on the back. Suspect was able to wrestle the hammer away from the suspect and fled the residence. As victim was attempting to enter his truck the suspect ran at him with a large kitchen knife. Victim was able to enter his truck before getting stabbed or cut by the knife. Victim was afraid the suspect was going to stab him with the knife. Suspect was booked on the listed offenses.

Between April 27th, 2017 and May 7th 2017, the victim stated that her computer equipment was stolen from her unlocked office while she was out of town. The victim stated that she does not know who would have burglarized her office on her property. The victim stated that she did not have the doors to her office locked during the time she was gone and thinks that someone gained access to her office through her unlocked door. There are no known suspects or witnesses at this time.

Suspect: George Rivas -35 -Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Speeding – Fleeing / Eluding an Officer – Driving while Suspended
The suspect was observed traveling 84 mph in a 65 mph zone. The driver failed to immediately stop for the deputies’ lights and siren, even getting off and back on at two different exits. The driver stated he was scared to stop because his passenger told him not to.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Charges: DWI – Speeding 95/65 – Failure to update name and/or address
A traffic stop was conducted on the above suspect for speeding. During the stop signs of impairment were observed. The suspect subsequently agreed to a breathalyzer test with the results being .13 and .13
Since the suspect had a prior DWI on his record his vehicle was seized pursuant to Santa Fe County Ordinance.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).
