On Friday June 22, 2018 at approximately 10:46 pm Deputies responded to assist deputies at a vehicle fire. A deputy was advised that the subject who had been driving the vehicle when it caught on fire was possibly intoxicated. Deputy contacted the driver of the vehicle who advised that he had been drinking and that he had driven the vehicle. The driver later changed his story and stated that he was not driving. Both the girlfriend and sister of the driver confirmed that the suspect had been driving. The suspect agreed to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Signs of impairment were observed. The suspect was arrested. The Suspect refused a breath test.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

On Sunday, June 24, 2018 at approximately 2:31pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unidentified suspect(s) gained entry into the residence by forcing open a door and removed cash and a baby monitor from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Charges: Aggravated DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic
On 06-23-18 the above individual was pulled over after he was observed failing to maintain his lane of travel. While speaking to the driver, he displayed signs of intoxication. The driver submitted to SFST's and was subsequently placed under arrest. The driver refused chemical testing. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center accordingly.

Suspect checked in at EM and was taken into custody for failure to comply with his J&S. Suspect was booked without incident.
0218010063-Burglary-Larceny-Criminal Damage to Property-06/23/18

Victim: Female 56 Years of age
Taken: Turquoise Jewelry($300)
Damaged: Windows($1000), Telephone Wires($300)
Deputies made contact with the victim who stated an unknown person(s) gained entry into the residence between 2-4pm on todays date. Entry was made through a bedroom window damaging it. The unknown person(s) also cut the telephone wires. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a male not conscious not breathing. Investigation revealed the male passed away from medical complications. OMI found no signs of foul play.

Victim reported after leaving her vehicle in the area over night, unknown suspects broke the window and rummaged through her vehicle. Nothing was reported taken. Case is under investigation.

Contact was made with victim who advised unknown suspects had cut the locks to several storage units and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Noe Martinez-Hernandez
Deputies made contact with the listed suspect who was parked partially in the roadway at exit 267. Suspect was found passed out at the wheel. SFST's were conducted and signs of impairment were observed. Suspect consented to a breath test which yielded a .06, .08. During an inventory search of the vehicle two marijuana pipes were located. Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.
0218009940 – Aggravated DWI – 06-21-18

Location: US-84/285 – 177 Mile Marker
Suspect: Luke D. Johnson – 39 -Glorieta, NM
Charges: Aggravated DWI – Equipment, Prohibited Acts
Deputy was dispatched to the 177 mile marker of US 84/285 to assist Pojoaque Police Department with a possible intoxicated driver. Deputy arrived on scene and was advised that the vehicle was observed driving on US 84/285 with a camper style trailer unattached to the hitch on the truck and being dragged along by the safety chains. The Deputy contacted the driver who advised he had been drinking the day prior. On the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests signs of impairment were observed. The driver was placed under arrest for DWI. The driver submitted two breath samples the results of which were 0.17g/210L and 0.18g/210L. It was also learned that the driver had been involved in a hit and run crash in Espanola.
The vehicle was seized due to a prior DWI in accordance with Santa Fe County Ordinance.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).
