On Thursday March 8, 2018 Deputies conducted a traffic stop for speeding on a red in color Pontiac Grand AM. It was discovered that the driver's privilege to operate a motor vehicle was revoked due to a DWI offense and was subsequently arrested. The vehicle was seized.

Suspect: Jessica Rodriguez 29 Santa Fe, NM
Deputies stopped a gray Hyundai 4 door passenger car for not stopping at the posted stop sign on State Road 14 and Fire Place. The driver had an odor of alcoholic beverages on her breath. Standard Field Sobriety Tests were conducted which indicated impairment. The driver was arrested and booked.

On Thursday, March 8, 2018, Deputies served a warrant on the arrestee at the Santa Fe County Jail. The warrant was for failing to comply with conditions of release on the original charge of DWI. Arrestee was booked.

Property Taken: 32" flat screen TV
On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to a residence in the area in reference to a report of a residential burglary. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence through a front facing door by using a rock to damage the glass. Once inside the home, the unknown suspect(s) stole the above mentioned television and then fled the area in an unknown direction of travel. This case is currently under investigation.

Deputy was checking on a suspicious parked in the above location. Subject was found to have an active bench warrant out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to comply with condition of probation. Subject was arrested and transported to ADC where she was charged and booked accordingly.

Deputy was dispatched to the above location in reference to a narcotic violation. Above suspect was found with a syringe, suboxone and a small bag of meth during a strip search. Suspect was charged and re-booked accordingly.

On Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at approximately 4:21pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a report of embezzlement. Loss prevention suspects an employee has been embezzling money from the store. Case is under investigation.

Suspect: Angela Smith, 46, Santa Fe, NM
On Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at approximately 6:55pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Suspect and suspect's daughter were in the parking lot arguing because suspect had an active arrest warrant. Suspect was at location to turn herself in. Contact was made with the suspect and was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Original charges on the warrant were DWI, Abuse of a Child, and Criminal Damage to Property.

Location: 90 block of Old San Marcos Trail, Santa Fe, NM
Victim: 69 Year Old male
Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to a male subject not breathing and unresponsive. CPR was in progress until Medics arrived. Medics were unsuccessful with life saving measures. The victim had extensive medical history including congestive heart failure. OMI arrived on scene and observed no signs of foul play.
