Deputy was dispatched to location in reference to an inmate being found in possession of controlled substance. Upon arrival, the inmate was found to have suspected Methamphetamine and Suboxone. Inmate was re booked into jail with the additional charges.

Narrative: Deputy did a welfare check on a subject who was walking along the highway. A check of the subject revealed that he had a warrant for his arrest for Impersonating a Police Officer. Upon searching the suspect after placing him under arrest the deputy found a grinder, marijuana and a white powder. The suspect told him was crushed up adderall pills and he did not have a prescription for them.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Person Arrested: Ben Herrera, 35 Year old Male Subject
Vehicle Seized: Black in color, 2005 model, Cadillac Escalade.
On the aforementioned date, Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the above mentioned vehicle for moving violations. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the above mentioned male subject's drivers license was revoked with the arrest clause. The male subject was taken into custody and the vehicle was seized pursuant to Santa Fe County's seizure ordinance. The subject was taken to the adult detention center where he was charged and booked without incident.

Suspect: Michael Sena (64)
The suspect was stopped by a Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office Detective for a road rage incident and later found to have a revoked license. The suspect was also found with Suboxone in the vehicle after he was placed under arrest. The suspect was booked accordingly and the vehicle was seized as per the county ordinance.

Possession of a Controlled Substance to wit: Suboxone
On 10-06-17 Deputy dispatched to the above location in regards to an inmate found to be in possession of a controlled substance. During the investigation it was learned the above individual was found to be in possession of several orange strips and a clear rock like substance in a plastic bag. The items were identified as Suboxone and Methamphetamine. He was booked accordingly.

On 10-06-17 Deputies were dispatched to the above location for a welfare check. Upon arrival contact was made with a household member, who displayed signs of injury. During the investigation it was determined the above male battered the household member.

On Thursday, October 5, 2017 at approximately 5:46pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. Sometime during the day an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence by damaging a door and a window. Once inside the residence the suspect(s) removed a television, WiFi box, tablet, speakers, some change, and a blanket. Investigation is ongoing.

On the above stated date the above stated individual advised me that the above listed item was stolen from his blue in color 2014 Dodge challenger sometime between 10/4/ 2017 at 0800 and 10/5/2017 at 1300. Victim advised access to the vehicle was obtained thru an unlocked drivers side door.
