Case #2025005668 / Great Bodily Harm by Motor Vehicle - Aggravated Fleeing - Reckless Driving / 09/26/2025

Arrested: Seth Delugos (18 YOM)

Deputies observed Mr. Delugos operating a vehicle a in reckless manner.  The vehicle continued to drive recklessly as deputies attempted to turn around and catch up to the suspect.  Prior to deputies closing distance with the vehicle, the suspect crashed into another vehicle.  The suspect sustained minor injuries.  The driver of the second vehicle was trasnported by medics for life-threatening injuries.  The suspect was placed under arrest and booked on the above charges.


Case #2025005660/Felony DWI/09-25-2025

Location: 26700 Interstate 25

Arrested: Kateri Esquibel, 42 YOF

Additional Charges: Driving while license is revoked-DWI related and Roadways laned for traffic

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, deputies were patrolling the above location when they observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver. The above driver showed signs of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI. The driver was read the NM Implied Consent Advisory and she agreed to chemical testing. The driver was transported to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office, where she provided breath samples that indicated she was above the legal limit. This was also the driver's fourth DWI. She was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility where she was booked without incident.


Case #2025005659/Robbery/09-25-2025

Location: 15 NM 106, Espanola, NM

Arrested: Robert Santistevan

Additional Charges: Attempt to Commit a Felony, to wit: Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, deputies responded to a welfare check at the location. Upon arrival, deputies learned the suspect had stolen the victim's vehicle keys and had attempted to steal a truck. A brief struggle ensued and the victim was able to regain control of the keys. However, the suspect did steal an iPhone. The suspect was located in the area and he was found in possession of the victim's phone. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. He was then booked accordingly.


Case 2025005649-Death Investigation

Deputies responded to a welfare check. Initial investigation revealed no sign of foul play, and the death appeared to have been related to possible substance abuse. However, an autopsy is pending the final cause of death determination by the office of the medical investigator.

Arrested-Elias Gomez (49 YOM (Santa Fe, NM)

Vehicle was parked on the side of the road. Male was asleep in the driver seat. Driver agreed to persform SFST's. Driver showed signs of impairment. Driver was arreste dand agreed to provide two breath samples. Results wer 0.27-0.25. Driver was booked into SF ADC with out incident


2025005641, 5642, 5643/ Possession of a controlled substance, warrant service x2

Arrested: R. Zapata age 35

Location: N Riverside DR 

Deputy Blakely conducted a traffic stop on above listed. A license check revealed he had two arrests warrants. Santa Fe Municipal (TR-2025-0000886, original charges of traffic offenses), Espanola Municipal Court (2025000040, original charges of traffic offenses). Upon a search incident to arrest serval small baggies containing suspected narcoties were located on Zapata's person. He was arrested and booked accordingly. 


2025005640/ AGG DWI, Roadways laned for traffic, Open Container

Arrested: A. Mateyak Age 32

Location: Cerillos RD/ Apache Ave.

Deputy Ward conducted a traffic stop on above named. Upon contact Mateyak, she had an odor of achohol, slurred speech and blood shot and watery eyes. SFST's were administered which she displayed signs of impairment. She was arrested and provided a breath sample of a BrAC of twice of the legal limit. She was booked into ADC accordingly. 


Case #2025005637/Criminal Damage to Property/09-24-2025

Location: 27600 Interstate 25, Santa Fe, NM

Damaged: Front bumper of a Tesla

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, deputies contacted a victim who advised an unknown person threw a bottle of wine outside of their vehicle. The bottle broke in front of the Tesla, and the glass caused over $1,000 in damage to the bumper. The vehicle being driven by the suspect was a red Chevrolet pickup truck with tinted windows, and no visible license plate. This case remains under investigation.


Case #2025005634/Robbery/09-24-2025

Location: Camino Valle, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Cosmetics, Houshold goods, Consumables ($600)

Suspects: Driver was described as a slender Caucasian male, late 30s, wearing a light blue baseball cap. Female was described as being in her mid 30s, and was wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, black shoes and had long dark hair. 

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, deputies responded to the above location for a report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival, deputies learned aroudn 1:30 pm, the above female left the establishment with over $600 worth of merchandise. An employee interrupted the theft and a brief struggle over some of the items ensued. The suspects later fled the location in a blue/grey Mazda CX50. This case remains under investigation.


Case #2025005635/Auto Burglary/09-24-2025

Location: 600 Block of NM 475, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Credit Cards, leather backpack, NM driver's license, leather backpack

On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an after the fact auto burglary. Contact was made with the victim who advised unknown persons gained unlawful access to their vehicle by damaging a window. This occurred between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on September 24, 2025. Once in the vehicle, suspect(s) stole the above mentioned items. Unknown suspect(s) also used the victim's credit card as several establishments in Santa Fe. This case remains under investigation.
