Location: Country Club Gardens

Arrested: Sergio Perez-Acosta (23 YOA)

Deputies were attempting to locate a hit-and-run vehicle, for the Santa Fe Police Department. The vehicle and driver were located. During the interaction, Mr. Perez became physically aggressive and attempted to choke the Deputy. The Deputy was able to escape the hold and placed Mr. Perez in handcuffs. He was booked accordingly.

Location: 4200 Agua Fria

Arrested: Enrique Villar (33 YOA)

Deputies performed a traffic stop after observing an infraction. During the encounter, it was discovered Mr. Villar had an active warrant for failing to comply with conditions of release. He was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Case #2025007511 / Aggravated DUI - Failure to Maintain Lane - Open Container / 12/28/2025

Deputy Assigned: J. Watson

Entering: Lt. V. Baca

Location: W. Alameda / Prine of Peace

Arrested: Henry Cordova-Guerra (23 YOA)

Deputies conducted a traffic stop for a traffic infraction. Mr. Guerra admitted to consuming alcohol and agreed to perform SFST's. Signs of impairment were observed. Mr. Guerra agreed to provide a breath sample (.0.21, 0.23). He was booked accordingly.

Case#2025007510 DWI 12-27-25

Entering & Assigned: Sgt. E. Webb Jr. 

Location: NM 14/Rancho Viejo (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Nathan Mondragon 39 yoa male (Taos)

Subject was stopped for being unable to maintain a single lane of travel. SIgns of intoxication were noted. Subject submitted to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. He was arrested and submitted to a breath test which revealed a .13, .13 BrAC. He was booked.

Case #2025007507 Fraud

Deputy Assigned: J. Thomas

Commander Entering: Cpl. B. Lattin

Location: Rainbows End, Santa Fe

Deputies responded to the location in reference to a fraud. Deputies were advised the victim was contacted by a male who claimed to be “Lieutenant Oliver” and was told he had an outstanding warrant for missing jury duty. The victim paid the suspect, then realized it was a scam.  

Case #2025007504/7505/ Aggravated DWI, Warrant Arrest/ 12/27/25

Location- Agua Fria/ Siler

Arrested- Joann Alberto Marquez (21 year old male/ Santa Fe)

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for speeding and running two stop signs. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided a breath sample that was at or above a .16 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Location- NM 76/ Placita Rd

Arrested- Juanito Marquez (44 year old male/ Espanola)

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a traffic infraction. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

CASE#2025007502 Warrant Arrest 12-27-25

Entering: Sgt. Edward Webb Jr. 

Location: Calle Lorca (Santa Fe)

Arrested: Gilberto Avalos-Morales 41 yoa female (Santa Fe)

Subject was contacted as a suspicious person. He was found to have an active felony warrant out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court. He was arrested and booked into SFADC without incident. 

Case #2025007501/ DWI/ 12/27/25

Location- Cerrillos/ Lujan

Arrested- Giovanni Campos Zambrano (29 year old male/ Santa Fe)

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for expired registration and unknown insurance. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided a breath sample that was at or above a .08 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Location:St. Michaels and Pinon St. 

Arrested: Oscar Rodriguez-Mendoza 35 yoa (Santa Fe)

Subject was stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop, he was found to have two active warrants for his arrest out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court. He was taken to the SFADC. He was booked without incident.
