Arrested: William Soriano, 43 YOM
On Monday, January 5, 2026, deputies were patrolling the above area when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a violation. Upon contacting the above driver, it was discovered he had an active bench warrant out of the New Mexico State Police. After the warrant was confirmed, he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility where he was booked accordingly and without incident.

Location: Griego Hill
Decedent: 69 YOM
Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, it was determined the patient was beyond any life-saving measures. The decedent had recently been dealing with medical issues. OMI responded and performed a separate investigation. No signs of foul play were observed.
Case #2025000072 False Imprisonment, Aggravated Fleeing, Driving While License Suspended

Warrant: Galen Manon-Muller, 26 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a possible kidnapping. Deputies were advised the victim was being held at the location against her will by her boyfriend, the suspect. The suspect fled from law enforcement during the investigation. A warrant was submitted for the suspect.
Case #2026000073 Attempted burglary

Deputies responded to the location in reference to an attempted burglary. Deputies were advised unknown suspect(s) attempted to force entry into the residence through several windows and doors. No suspect was located at this time.
Case #2026000057/Burglary of a Motor Vehicle/01-03-2025
Deputy Assigned: M. Meyers

Location: 1400 Block of Hyde Park Road, Santa Fe, NM
Stolen: Two iPhones
On Saturday, January 3, 2025, deputies investigated a report of an auto burglary that occurred at the above location. It was learned unknown suspects gained unlawful access to a vehicle and stole two iPhones in the afternoon hours on today's date. The phones were tracked to a cellphone purchase machine where they were recovered. This case remains under investigation.
Case #2026000056 Burglary of a motor vehicle

Location: 1400 block NM 475, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an auto burglary. Deputies were advised the victim was skiing during the day. When he returned to his vehicle, he noticed one of his windows broken and several items missing from within.
Case #2026000055 Missing Person

Missing: Leander Nez, 27 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a missing person. The male has not been seen or heard from by his family since he left for work on January 2, 2025. The male was entered into NCIC as missing.
Case #2025000043/ DWI/ 1/3/25

Entering- Corporal D. Moore
Location- St. Francis/ Cordova
Arrested- Isabella Vigil (21 year old female/ Medanales, NM)
Isabella was condacted during a traffic stop where she was observed running a red light. She displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. She was transported to the SFSO where she provided a breath sample that was at or above a .08 BRAC. She was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Carmelita Griego (39 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Arrested- Jeanette Trinidad (39 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Carmelita and Jeanette were contacted during a traffic stop, and both found to have active warrants. They were both arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Jeffrey Shirley (32 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Jeffrey was contacted during a traffic stop and found to have an active warrant. He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.
