ON 2/23/2026, VICTIM AGE 14 REPORTED TO SCHOOL COUNSELOR THAT SHE WAS SEXUALLY ABUSED APPROXIMATLEY 2 YEARS AGO BY A MALE WHO IS A FAMILY FRIEND IN THE LA CIENEGA AREA. THE CASE IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.

Arrested- Nita Hidaka (31 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies contacted Nita while investigating a stolen vehicle that was found in a driveway of a residence. Nita was found to have an outstanding warrant and she was arrested. She was later booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2026001089/ Aggravated DWI, Speeding/ 2/22/26

Arrested- James Davis (33 year old male/ Santa Fe)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for speeding. Upon contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed and the driver was arrested for DWI. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided breath samples of .18 / .20 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Jennifer Griego (47 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Deputies contacted Jennifer on a traffic stop and she was found to have two outstanding warrants. She was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2026001086 // Warrant Arrest, Driving While License Revoked, No Insurance - 2/22/2026

Location: Airport Road
Arrested: Manuel Chavez (29 YO)
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. Contact was made with the driver who had a revoked license due to a prior DUI. Driver was arrested and charged accordingly, and served on an active arrest warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

Deputies were dispatched to the detention center due to an inmate punching a correctional officer in the face. Suspect was rebooked at ADC with the above charge.

Arrested- David Norman (30 year old male/ Espanola)
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic dispute. During their investigation, deputies learned that David committed battery on the victim and he was arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Annamarie Salazar (26 year old female/ Espanola)
Deputies were dispatched to assist Pojoaque PD with a traffic stop of a non-Native driver. Upon contact with the driver, signs of impairment were observed and she was arrested for DWI. She was transported to the SFSO where she provided breath samples of .14 / .15 BRAC. She was later booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2026001071/ Shoplifting under $250/ 2/21/26

Arrested- Gerardo Sustaita (53 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies were called by Target asset protection in reference to a shoplifting. Upon arrival deputies contacted Gerardo, who was sitting in the AP office. Deputies were informed that Gerardo selected merchandise, concealed it in his jacket, and passed all points of purchase. He was stopped by asset protection and the merchandise was recovered. Gerardo was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Jeremiah Lucero (22 year old male/ Algodones)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for speeding, driving with no lights on, and following too closely. Upon contact with the driver, it was found his license was revoked due to a previous DWI. The driver also displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. He refused to provide a breath sample and was later booked at the SF ADC.
