Arrested- Joaquin Romero (38 years old/ Santa Fe)

Location- Avenida Colibri/ Wirecrest Ln

A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for driving on two flat tires and going the wrong way at a round-a-bout. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. He provided a breath test and was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Luis Hernandez Salamanca (24 year old male/ Albuquerque)

Location- N Riverside Dr (Espanola)

Luis was contacted during a traffic stop and found to have an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

Case #2025004903/ Warrant Arrest/ 8/21/25

Assigned- Deputy R. Blea

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Arrested- Luis Sanchez (33 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Location- Cerrillos Rd

Luis was contacted by deputies during a suspicious person call. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. He was transported to the SF ADC where he was booked.

Case #2025004898/ Warrant Arrest/ 8/20/25

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Arrested- Emmanuel Martinez (34 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Location- Agua Fria Rd

Deputies came into contact with Emmanuel on a welfare check. He was found to have an active arrest warrant and was arrested. He was later booked at SF ADC.

Case #2025004893 // Unattended Death - 8/20/2025

Deputy Assigned: A. Gallardo 

Commander Entering: Cpl. A. Hancock 

Location: Dinosaur Trail

Deceased: R. Olivas (44 YOM)

Deputies were dispatched to the residence for a male who was not conscious or breathing. Upon arrival it was determined the male was beyond life saving measures. There were no signs of foul play on scene, and subject has history of narcotic usage. 

Case #2025004890 / Burglary - Larceny - Criminal Damage / 08/20/2025

Deputy Assigned: J. Barron

Supervisor: Sgt. V. Baca

Location: 2200 Blk Henry Lynch Road

Stolen/Damaged: $1,600.00 in materials

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to larceny.  During the investigation, Deputies observed the damage and located video of potential suspect(s).

Location- N Riverside Dr (Espanola)

Arrested- Ramon Jaramillo (52 year old male/ Espanola)

Deputy Blea contacted Mr. Jaramillo while on a Welfare Check and he was found to have two active warrants. He was arrested on the warrants and later booked at the SF ADC.

Case #2025004882/ Aggravated Assault, Criminal Damage to Property, Larceny/ 8/19/25

Assigned- Deputy B. Smith

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- NM 14

Arrested- Calvin Vincent (48 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on NM 14 in reference to an aggravated assault. During the investigation, deputies learned that on the previous date an argument ensued that became violent. Mr. Vincent threatened the victim with an edged weapon, which caused the victim to flee the residence. While the victim was away from the residence, Mr. Vincent cause significant damage to the residence and stole several items. Mr. Vincent was arrested and later booked at ADC.

Case 2025004848/ Battery against a HHM/ 8-19-2025

Assigned: Deputy J. Lujan

Location: US 84-285/MM 175

Arrested: Jonathan Martinez, 45 YOM

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in progress. The victim reported being in a vehicle on NM 599, headed towards Española. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop at MM 175 of US 84-285. Upon investigation, it was learned that the subject battered his wife while driving. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Case 2025004846/ Agg DUI, No registration/ 8-18-2025

Assigned: Deputy L. Abeyta

Entering: Clp. Talamante

Location: NM76/MM1

Arrested: Diego Ornelas, 35 YOM

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. Upon contact with the subject/driver, signs of impairment were observed. SFSTs were conducted, and further signs of impairment were observed. The driver was arrested and refused to submit to a breath test. The subject was booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.
