Deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, it was discovered Mr. Pena had pushed his step-father which resulted to his step-father falling on the floor. Subject was arrested.

Deputies responded to a single motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival contact was made with the driver of the vehicle, who showed obvious signs of impairment. Standardized Field Sobriety tests were administered, the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility where he was booked accordingly.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to an assisting ambulance call for service. Upon arrival EMS performed lifesaving procedures, which were ultimately unsuccessful. Deputies conducted a full investigation which did not have any indication of foul play being involved. The Office of the Medical Investigator responded to the scene and the deceased was transported by a local funeral home.

Arrested- Devon Jannette Garcia (42 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Ms. Garcia was contacted by deputies during a suspicious vehicle call. She was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. She was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Jose Calabaza (41 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Mr. Calabaza was contacted by deputies when he was observed jay walking across Cerrillos Rd. He was found to have an outstanding warrant for probation violation. He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

On 1/27/2026 Deputies responded to the above location. Deputies spoke with Correction Officer who advised they had found drugs on Shannon Montoya. Drugs were tested and found positive. Arrested was charged and re-booked into the jail.

Deputies were dispatched to the above residence in reference to a domestic disturbance.
It was found that the suspect damaged a light fixture worth approximately $100 and a mirror worth approximately $100. The suspect also threw items at the victim. The victim claimed she believed the suspect was attempting to hit her with the items as she had to dodge them to avoid being struck.
Suspect was arrested and booked for the above listed charges.

Stolen: Salomon Snowboard (red in color)
On Saturday, January 24, 2026, deputies were advised of a larceny at the above location. The victim advised the snowboard was stolen from a ski rack around 2:00 pm. This case remains under investigation.

A was vehicle stopped by deputies for failure to maintain lane. Passenger, Ms. Archuleta, did not have a seat belt. She had a failure to appear warrant, original charge of criminal tresspass. She was arrested and booked without incident.
