Deputies were called to location in reference to a cardiac or respiratory arrest. Upon arrival, medics on scene were in the process of obtaining an ECG read for any heart rhythm. Medics advised the patient was asystole and OMI was summoned to the scene. Upon investigation, no foul play is suspected.

Deputies were dispatched to 51 Placita Rd in reference to a fight in progress call for service. Listed subjects were identified and admitted to drinking alcoholic beverages at Buffalo Thunder Casino prior to driving to listed location. Based on subjects admission to drinking and driving SFST’s were conducted, subject performed poorly and was placed under arrest for DUI. One subject later provided a breath sample of 0.09. The second refused chemical testing and a warrant was drafted for a blood draw. Both were booked at the detention center.

Deputies were dispatched to the residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. The investigation revealed the suspect pushed his girlfriend during an altercation. He was arrested and booked at the detention center.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop after observing a traffic violation. Contact was made with the driver, who had an outstanding bench warrant for his arrest. The driver was taken into custody and booked at SFADC, without incident.

Arrested- Robert Mares (21 year old male/ Santa Fe)- DUI, Speeding, Open Container, No Proof of Insurance, Evidence of Registration
Arrested- Carlos Garcia (28 year old male/ Rowe NM)- Littering, Resisting/Evading
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for speeding. Upon contact with the driver (Robert), signs of impairment were observed and he was arrested for DUI. He agreed to submit a blood sample so he was transported to the hospital. He was later booked at the SF ADC. While on the DUI investigation, the passenger (Carlos) exited the vehicle causing an empty beer can to fall out. When asked to pick it up and put it back in the truck, Carlos picked it up and threw the can into a tree Deputies then asked him to sit on the curb so deputies could run his information for littering charges. Carlos took off running but was quickly arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Deputies were dispatched to the address in reference to a male who had fainted and was not breathing. Life saving measures were performed by EMS but were unsuccessful. Next of kin was on scene, and there were no signs of foul play.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop. Contact was made with driver who had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on traffic charged. He was booked at the detention facility.
Case #2026002587/ DUI, Driving Wrong Way, No Registration, No Proof of Insurance, Improper Equipment/ 5/13/26

Arrested- Ximena Molina Peralta (24 year old female/ Espanola)
On Tuesday May 12, 2026, at about 2303 hours Deputies were dispatched to the area of US Highway 84-285 Mile Post 178. The call was in reference to a wrong way driver. As Deputies were canvasing the area, Dispatch advised that Officers with the Pojoaque Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle at the intersection of West Frontage Rd and Bronze Sky Rd. Deputy Cintron responded to the traffic stop and conducted a DWI investigation on the Driver Ximena Molina Peralta. Deputy Cintron observed signs of impairment, while she was administering standardized field sobriety tests. Deputy Cintron took Ximena into custody for DWI. She was transported and provided breath samples of .12/ .12 BRAC. She was later booked into the SF ADC.

Arrested- Mariah Sandoval (29 year old female/ San Felipe)
Deputies were dispatched to I25 at the Cochiti exit to assist Sandoval County Sheriff's Office deputies and rescue personnel with a possibly intoxicated driver. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the driver, who displayed signs of impairment, and she was arrested for DUI. She refused to provide a breath sample, so a warrant was obtained for a blood draw. Following a blood draw at the hospital, she was booked at the SF ADC.

Deputies responded to Windy Plains for a burglary report. The victim stated sometime between April 30th and May 12th someone broken into her residence through the back door and removed items valued at $280. Case is under investigation.
