Deputies were called to an active shoplifter at the store. Subject was apprehended and had been previously trespassed. She was charged and booked accordingly.

Arrested - Efrain Calles-Lima 32YOM

Cerrillos Rd/Zafarano Rd., Santa Fe

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on the above supect for failing to maintain lanes. During contact with the suspect, signs of impairement were observed and a DWI investigation was conducted. The driver was arrested and booked without incident.

On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, deputies were patrolling the above area when they conducted a traffic stop. During the traffic stop, contact was made with the above driver. It was found he had two bench warrants for his arrest. After the warrants were confirmed to be valid, he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, where he was booked accordingly and without incident.

On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a report of fraud. Contact was made with the victim who advised their business was the victim of a scam. As a result, the suspect was able to access their bank account and transfer over $20,000. This case remains under investigation.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop, the driver was operating a motor vehicle without an ignition interlock device on a revoked driver license. Driver was arrested and booked without incident.

Missing: 49 YOM

On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a missing person. Upon arrival, it was discovered the above male left the residence on foot. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt. The male was entered into NCIC as missing. Shortly after, the male was located and removed from NCIC as a missing person.


Case #2026002324 Aggravated battery against a household member, False imprisonment

Location: 100 block Los Pinos Rd, Santa Fe

Arrested: Aaron Mata, 39 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were contacted by a citizen who stated she had been involved in a domestic disturbance with her fiancé. During the investigation, deputies learned the suspect battered the victim. The suspect was located and arrested. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Location: 600 Block of N. Riverside Drive, Espanola NM

Arrested: Jeffery Montano, 51 YOM

On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, deputies responded to the above area to assist the Santa Clara Tribal Police Department. Upon arrival, it was found that Santa Clara officers had come into contact with the above male, and the male had a bench warrant out of Santa Fe County. After the warrant was confirmed to be valid, the male was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, where he was booked accordingly and without incident.


Case #2026002323 // Shoplifting, Resisting/Evading - 4/28/2027

Location: Home Depot 

Arrested: Fabian Madril (48 YO) 

On 4/28/2026 deputies working the proactive enforcement operation responded to the Home Depot at 952 Richards ave for a shoplifting in progress. They arrived and observed the suspect running away from the store. After a foot chase the offender, Fabian Madril, was taken into custody. Madril was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. The value of the property recovered was $479.80
