Deputies were dispatched to a reckless driver who was all over the road. A traffic stop was conducted and a DUI investigation took place. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Driver was found to have a revoked license due to a prior DUI, refused chemical testing and was found to have 3 active arrest warrants, one of which was out Minnesota. Vehicle also did not have registration/insurance for the vehicle.
Case #2025006231/Larceny over $2500/10-23-2025
Location:17700 U.S. 84/285, Pojoaque, NM
Stolen: Red Honda Generator, Craftsman Generator
On Thursday, October 23, 2025, deputies responded to the above area for a larceny. Upon arrival, it was learned that between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm on today's date, unknown person(s) stole the two above generators. This case remains under investigation.
Case #2025006236/Death Investigation/10-23-2025
Location: Old Galisteo Way, Santa Fe, NM
Deceased: 81 YOM
On Thursday, October 23, 2025, deputies responded to the above area for a welfare check. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male deceased. OMI was summoned to the scene to conduct an investigation. There were no signs of foul play and next of kin was notified.
Case #2025006235/Missing Person/10-23-2025
Location: Santa Fe County
Missing: Matthew Lopez, 33 YOM
On October 23, 2025, deputies made contact with family members who advised their son did not board his plane in Italy. The son was also not answering the phone. The son was entered into NCIC as a missing person. Case remains under investigation.
Case #2025006192/Motor Vehicle Theft/10-21-2025
Location: 10 Cities of Gold Road
Stolen: 2005 Nissan Pathfinder, black in color, bearing NM/330XDR
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, deputies responded to the above location for a report of a vehicle being stolen. Contact was made with the victim who advised an unknown person took the above vehicle from the parking lot. This occurred around 7:20 pm on 10-21-2025. This case remains under investigation.
Case #2025006174 Warrant Arrest,Concealing ID, Revoked DL, Possession of CS

Entering: Sgt. E. Webb Jr.
Location: Siringo Road
Arrested: BARRONDO DE LEON, DAVID ALBERTO 46 yoa & CRADER, STEPHANIE 43 yoa female
The above persons were stopped for a traffic offense (no registration and no insurance), and the driver (David) was found to be operating while revoked due to a DWI. The passenger (Stephanie) did not have a seat belt on and was also identified. She was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of the Santa Fe Magistrate Court. Search incident to arrest, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl). Both were arrested and booked without incident.

Arrested: Andrew Montoya (29 YO)
Deputies assisted Pojoaque PD with a traffic stop. The driver showed signs of impairment, and was ultimately arrested for DUI. He refused to provide a breath sample.
Case #2025006156/ Aggravated DUI, Warrant Arrest/ 10/19/25

Arrested- Sergio Enriquez-Trejo (43 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- Agua Fria/ San Ysidro Crossing
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane and making a wide right hand turn. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided a breath sample that was at or above a .16 BRAC. The driver was also found to have an outstanding warrant. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Taras Levchenko (30 year old male/ Espanola)
Location- US 84/285 @ MM 181
Deputies were dispatched to assist Pojoaque PD on a traffic stop with a non-Native driver. Upon contact with the driver, he showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided a breath sample that was at or above a .08 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2025006142/ Aggravated Battery on a Household Member/ 10/19/25

Arrested- Jose VIgil (30 year old male/ Rio Rancho)
Location- Buffalo Thunder Casino/ Resort
Deputies were dispatched to a hotel in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies spoke to all involved parties and conducted an investigation. Deputies learned that Jose Vigil had committed an aggravated battery on his significant other. He was placed under arrest and later booked at the SF ADC.
