The subject was identified during a traffic stop and found to have an active warrant for his arrest. A warrant was issued for an aggravated battery charge from SFPD. The subject was taken to SFADC where he was booked without incident.

Subject was stopped for a traffic infraction and found to have an active warrant for their arrest out of Santa Fe Municipal Court. He was booked into SFADC without incident.

Location: Cerrillos Road/ Beckner Road
Arrested: Jaime Pena 30 yoa
Deputies responded to a report of a reckless driver on NM 14, traveling north into Santa Fe. Deputies located the vehicle and observed it failing to maintain its lane. The driver was intoxicated and showed signs of impairment. He was arrested and booked into SFADC. He was also found to have 2 active warrants for his arrest, which he was also booked into SFADC.

Arrested- Heather Machacek (56 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Location- Cerrillos Rd/ Rodeo Rd
Deputies contacted Heather during a welfare check. After identifying her, she was found to have two outstanding warrants. She was arrested on the warrants and later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- John Armijo (52 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Arrested- Gerlinde Hackler (52 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Location- Agua Fria/ Maes Rd
Deputies came into contact with the above individuals during a traffic stop. Upon identifying them, it was determined they each had outstanding warrants. Both were arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

Joe was contacted by a deputy on a welfare check. Upon learning his identity, it was discovered that Joe had outstanding warrants. Joe was placed under arrest and later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested: Jesus Enriquez (18 YO)
Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a domestic. The investigation revealed the the suspect punched a 17-year-old female multiple times in the head, resulting in minor injuries. Suspect was arrested.

Arrested- Miguel Castrejon (29 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- Airport Rd (Santa Fe)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for and infraction. Upon contacting the occupants of the vehicle, deputies discovered that Miguel had 3 outstanding warrants. He was arrested on the warrants and booked at ADC.
Case #2025004170/ Larceny/ 7/17/2025

Location- Bishops Lodge Rd (Tesuque)
Deputies were dispatched to a hotel in reference to a guest reporting an item was missing from his room. Deputies searched the room, but could not locate the item. Deputies and staff looked through the dirty linens, thinking the item could have been wrapped up in the sheets by accident. Deputies are in the process of obtaining video surveillance and conducting follow-up interviews. The case is still being investigated.
Case#2025004159 - Missing Person - 7/16/25

Location: A N B Lane, Santa Fe NM
Missing: Gary Turbide (65YOM)
Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a missing person. Mr. Turbide was last seen on July 6, 2025 during an investiagtion. Mr. Turbide is known to enjoy the outdoors and could possibly be camping. Mr. Turbide took some of his personal belongings and did not give any indication he had intentions to harm himself.. Mr. Turbide was entered into NCIC as a missing person.
