Contact was made with the victim, who reported she left her vehicle at the location. The victim advised sometime between 7pm last night and 9am today an unknown suspect(s) broke the passenger window to her vehicle and made entry. The victim reported taken was a tan MK purse and Black MK wallet with all her documents inside, the case is under investigation.

Missing: Garry Smith (74 YOM)

Deputies responded to the area in reference to a welfare check.  Contact with Mr. Smith was not made at his home.  Neighbors advised they have not seen Mr. Smith at the residence.  Mr. Smith's nephew became concerned when family lost contact him approximately 4 months ago. Mr. Smith was possibly traveling to Phoenix, Arizona on January 14, 2025.  The trip was for treatment for an illness.  Mr. Smith's last Facebook post was on January 26, 2025 while attending the Daytona 500 Road Race. He was antered into NCIC.


Case 2025003555/ Warrant service/6-16-2025

Entering: Cpl. Talamante

Location: S Meadows/NM-599

Arrested: Joncarlo Beltran, 25 YOM

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. The subject had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to appear on a speeding charge. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.


Case #2025003545 Battery Against a Household Member, Interference with Communications

Location: Heartstone Drive, Santa Fe

Summons: Denise Esposito, 50 YOA female, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. The calling party advised she and her daughter got into an argument. During the argument the suspect pushed the victim onto a bed and scratched her arm. The suspect also attempted to take the victim’s phone to prevent her from calling 911. The suspect left prior to deputies arrival. A summons was issued.


Case #2025003554 Burglary, Larceny

Location: County Road 84, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a burglary. The calling party advised unknown suspect(s) broke into a shed on his property and stole a PlayStation 2, a PlayStation 4, a Nintendo, games for the consoles, 4 fans, and an air conditioner. No suspect information at this time.    


Case #2025003550 Aggravated DWI, Expired Registration, No Insurance

Location: Cities of Gold Road, Santa Fe

Arrested: Johnathan Ruiz, 38 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies responded to the location to assist Pojoaque Police on a traffic stop with a non-Native-American male.  Deputies contacted the driver of the vehicle and observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.


Case #2025003553 Unattended Death

Location: Blue Bell Court, Santa Fe

Deceased: 78 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies responded to the location in reference to an assistance with ambulance. Deputies arrived on scene and located the decedent, who was beyond medical help. Deputies contacted the Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI). No signs of foul play were observed.  


Case 2025003533/Agg Battery on a household member/6-15-2025

Assigned: Deputy V. Baca

Entering: Cpl. Talamante

Location: Los Pinos Rd

Arrested: Lawrence Pino, 38 YOM

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call regarding a father and son involved in a physical altercation. After investigation, it was determined that the subject was the primary aggressor, and was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC. 


2025003527 / Driving while license is revoked / 6-15-2025

Location: Hwy 14 and Rancho Viejo

Arrested: Vincent Salazar     Age: 44  Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were patrolling the area of HWY 14 and Rancho Viejo Blvd when they observed a vehicle with a traffic violation. The vehicel was stopped and contact was made with the driver. The driver named Vincent Salazar was found to be driving a vehicle while his license was revoked. The driver was arrested and taken to jail. 


2025003531 / Aggravated DWI / 6-15-2025

Location: Las Campanas / Old Buckman Road

Arrested: Augusto Garcia Macal       Age: 36    Santa Fe, NM

Dispatch requested deputies respond to the area of Las Campanas Drive and Old Buckman Road reference to a possible stalled vehicle in the intersection. Upon arriving, deputies located a person sitting behind the steering wheel of the vehicle and displayed signs of impairment. Sobriety tests were given and the driver (Garcia-Macal) was arrested. Garcia-Macal submitted to chemical testing with the results being .23, .21
