During a traffic stop the driver was operating a vehicle on a revoked license without an interlock, during his arrest narcotics were located and he was booked accordingly.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop due to the registered owner of the vehicle showing a warrant. Contact was made with the driver, who was confirmed to have a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation. Driver was arrested.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop in which the driver was identified and found to have two active arrest warrants. Both warrants were for failure to appear on various traffic violations. Driver was arrested.

Arrested: Michael Medina (65 YO) 

Deputies were dispatched to a possible crash with a male lying in the roadway. Contact was made with the male, who had an active warrant for failure to appear on various traffic violations. He was arrested on the warrant. 


Case #2025005921/Possession of a Controlled Substance/10-09-2025

Location: Boneyard Road and U.S. 84/285, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Lee Vigil, 29 YOM

Additional Charges: Warrant Service, No Driver's License

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, deputies were patrolling the area when they observed a vehicle without proper registration. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver. Deputies learned the driver had an active warrant for their arrest. The above driver was subsequently placed under arrest. During a subsequent search, a crystal-like substance was located on the driver's person. This substance later field tested positive for methamphetamines. The driver was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Stolen: White 1985 Dodge Ram bearing New Mexico license plate 011CZL

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim advised he last observed his vehicle in the morning of October 7, 2025. It is believed that a family member may have taken the vehicle, but the victim is unsure. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen.

Reporting party found the deceased male in his bed, no signs of foul play were located. 


2025005905 - Possession of controlled substance and drug paraphernalia - 10/07/2025

Deputy was conducting a foot patrol at the county administration building when he made contact with a male at the entrance who was passed out with drug paraphernalia and narcotics on his lap. The male was arrested. 


2025005907 - Revoked/Expired Registration - 10/08/2025

S. Riverside Drive/Santa Clara Bridge Road

Deputy was patrolling the area and ran an expired vehicle registration, the driver was stopped and had a revoked driver license for DWI. Driver was arrested without incident. 


2025005906 - DWI/Crash - 10/08/2025

76 Oshara Blvd, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to a vehicle that crashed into a fence, upon arrival contact was made with the driver who admitted to crashing into the fence and being intoxicated and he was arrested. It was the drivers fifth subsequent DWI and a blood warrant was obtained.
