Deputies were dispatched to the above location n reference to a burglary.  Victim estimated approximately $19,700 worth of items were stolen. Property stolen included furniture, kitchen appliances, tv’s, tools, art, musical instruments, and equipment.         


Case #2026000744/ Fraud/ 2/5/2026

Victim: 84 YOF

On February 5, 2026, Deputy was dispatched to a phone call in reference to a fraud.  Victim was contacted by a male Richard Williams claiming to be FBI advising victim her identity had been stolen.  Suspect had victim send him a total of $70,230.00 via wire transfer and gift cards.   


Case #2026000754 // Aggravated Battery, Child Abuse, Criminal Damage to Property - 2/5/2026

Location: Aaron Y Veronica

Arrested: Andrew Herrera (28 YO)

 Deputies were dispatched to the above listed address in reference to domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, it was determined the offender strangled the victim during a physical attack. The offender also struck an 8-year-old child who was on scene. The offender also broke the victim’s glasses during the physical attack which was valued under 500 US dollars. The offender was arrested and transported to SFADC without incident.

Agustina was contacted during a traffic stop.  It was discovered Agustina had an active warrant for (FTA) for Speeding.  Agustina was arrested and booked at the SF ADC

Elias was contacted during a traffic stop.  It was discovered Elias had an active warrant for (FTA) charge of Driving While License Suspended.  Elias was arrested and booked at the SF ADC

Case#202600740 / Unattended Death / 2-5-26

Assigned: C. Podolak 

Entering: Cpl Hernandez 

Location: Vista Sol

Deceased: Male 60 YOM

Deputies responded to the location in reference to an ambulance assistance call for service. Upon arrival EMS was actively performing lifesaving procedures, which were ultimately deemed unsuccessful. Deputies continued with their investigation and determined foul play was not suspected. The deceased was transported from the scene by a local funeral home.


Case #2026000724/ Warrant Arrest/ 2/4/26

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- 500 block of West Cordova

Arrested- David Wolleson (47 year old male/ Santa Fe)

David was contacted during a suspicious person call and found to have an outstanding warrant for concealing identity (FTA). He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.


Case #2026000726/ Aggravated DWI/ 2/4/26

Assigned- Deputy M. Ward

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- US 84/285 @ MM 170

Arrested- Miguel Bentancourth Hernandez (30 years old/ Santa Fe)

Deputies were dispatched to US 84/285 @ MM 170 to assist the Tesuque Police Department with a possible non-Native impaired driver. Deputies arrived on the scene of the traffic stop and contacted the driver, Miguel. He displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. He was transported to the SFSO and provided breath samples that were at or above a .16 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.
