Arrested- Jorge Suarez Huerta (25 year old male/ Hernandez)
On April 3, 2026, at approximately 10:30 pm Deputies observed to a wrong-way driver on the 84/285 Frontage Rd. The vehicle was stopped and the driver displayed signs of impairment. The driver performed poorly in standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for DUI. The driver was also driving on an invalid, revoked license, and an open container of alcoholic beverage was found in the vehicle. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided breath samples of .15/ .16 BRAC. He was later booked in Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

Arrested- Mariah Holmes Leyba (30 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Deputy Przyojski was dispatched to the SF ADC in reference to a narcotics violation. Upon arrival, he contacted corrections officers who advised narcotics had been located on an inmate who was concealing them inside her body. The narcotics were recovered, weighed, and tagged into evidence to be submitted to the DPS crime lab for testing. The inmate, Mariah Holmes Leyba, did not wish to speak with Deputy Przyojski and she was rebooked on the new charges.

NM 502 M.P. 15, Pojoaque
Deputies were dispatched to NM 502 near milepost 15 to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police with a possible DWI, deputies observed signs of impairment and SFSTs were administered. The suspect was arreseted and booked without incident.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop, during the interaction with the driver signs of impairement were observed. A DWI invesitgation was conducted and the driver was arrested and booked without incident.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop for driving with no headlamps on. During contact with with the above listed suspect, the suspect attempted to flee in the vehicle. The suspect was safely removed from the vehicle and placed into custody. The suspect was then found to have .04 grams of suspected crack cocaine.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for a traffic infraction. During the interaction, narcotics were observed and the occupants were detained. It was discovered Ms. Vazquez had an active warrant for her arrest. She was placed in custody and booked accordingly.

On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, deputies were patrolling the above area when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. Contact was made with the driver and it was discovered he was operating a motor vehicle without a required interlock device due to a previous DWI. The driver was placed under arrest and he was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked accordingly and without incident.

The driver was placed under arrest and was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked accordingly and without incident.
