Victim reported he was scammed out of money. He was in contact with people who claimed to be from the FBI. They requested he send money and he complied. He discovered it was fraudulent and reported it. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to location afrer receiving reports of a female possibly deceased. Once on scene and through invesitgation, no signs of foul play were observed or suspected. Cause of death appears to be from natural causes.

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. The subject had an active warrant for her arrest out of Rio Arriba Magistrate Court for failure to appear on an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle charge. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Arrested: Steven Swoverland, 44 YOM

Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle for a traffic infraction. Upon contact with the driver, it was learned that the driver had a revoked driver's license due to a DUI-related incident. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. The subject had an active warrant for her arrest out of the Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to appear on no-registration and no insurance charges. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Arrested Connor Correll 31YOM (Santa Fe, NM)

WElfare check was conducted on an individual sitting inside a vehicle inthe driver seat. Driver agreed to SFST's and showed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and booked into SF ADC with out incident. 


2025002019 / Aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer, Aggravated assault upon a law enforcement officer, Leaving the scene of an accident, Limitations on backing / 04-08-2025

Location: Numerous locations in SF County

Arrested: Walker, Stacy 50 YOM of Albuquerque, NM

Deputies responded to the area Richards Ave to assist Santa Fe Police with locating a UHaul truck. Reports stated a concerned citizen called in reporting he could hear knocking coming from the cargo area of the UHaul and he believed people were locked inside trying to get out. The vehicle was located by Deputies near El Gancho and Old Las Vegas Hwy. Deputies attempted to stop the UHaul truck to no avail. Deputies did not pursue the vehicle further than Quail Run. SFPD later located the UHaul which continued to flee. Attempts to spik by Deputies near NM599 and Jaguar Dr failed after the driver intentionally veered toward a deputy almost striking him as a result. The UHaul was ultimately spiked in the neighborhood of Carson Valley and the vehicle continued back into the city on flat tires. The Uhaul also crashed into two Santa Fe Police vehicles before coming to stop at Herrera Dr and Cerrillos Rd. The suspect was taken into custody and will be charged accordingly. No serious injuries or property damage resulted as a result of this incident.
