Arrested- Devon Garcia (42 year old female/ Santa Fe)
Deputy Olivas was patrolling the area of Siler and Agua Fria when his vehicle mounted license plate reader (LPR) scanned the plate of a stolen vehicle. Deputy Olivas turned around to locate the vehicle as it pulled into the parking lot of a business. The occupants exited the vehicle and Deputy Olivas was able to detain 3 of the 4 occupants. However, the driver was able to get away. Devon was found to have an outstanding warrant and was booked into the SF ADC. The stolen vehicle was recovered.

Suspect - Denise Esposito (52 Y/O)
Deputies responded to the location in regards to reports of an individual who was unconscious near a vehicle. A DWI investigation took place and the suspect was ultimately arrested. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. Blood Alcohol contents are pending results of a blood draw.
Case # 2026003467/ Burglary of a Motor Vehicle - 6/30/26

Location: Avenida Vista Grande
Stolen - Interlock device
Deputies responded to the location. Where they made contact with an individual who advised he had left his vehicle unlocked and unattended. The individual stated his interlock device was stolen some time between 6/26/26/ and 6/30/26. Case is under investigation.
Case #2026003452 Aggravated assault X5, Aggravated stalking, Shooting at an occupied dwelling

Location: Delaware Lane, Santa Fe
Arrested: Jose Garcia, 48 YOA male, Santa Fe.
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a male shooting at a residence. Deputies arrived on scene and detained the male. Deputies were advised the male was upset his girlfriend was at the location. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.
Case #2026003447 Battery

Location: Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility, Santa Fe
Arrested: Nancy Salcedo, 22 YOA female, Espanola.
Deputies were dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility (ADF) in reference to a fight between inmates. Deputies learned the suspect and victim got into a physical altercation over a card game. The suspect was rebooked into ADF accordingly.

NM 14 / NM 599, Santa Fe
Deputies received a call about a reckless driver on NM-14 & NM-599. Deputies were able to locate the vehicle on Bisbee Ct. Upon contact, signs of impairment were observed. A DWI investigation was conducted. The driver was placed under arrest for DUI. Breath samples provided resulted in 0.24 & 0.22.

Location: 200 block Camino Los Abuelos, Santa Fe
Arrested: Alejandro Hernandez Sigala, 29 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a male stating he had slit his brother’s throat. The calling party advised he was contacted by the suspect while he was feeding livestock. The suspect stated he had been in a fight with his brother and slit his throat. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the suspect who admitted his slit his brother’s throat during an argument. Deputies Contacted the victim who had had injuries consistent with the suspect’s statements. The suspect was subsequently booked into The Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility for aggravated battery.

Deceadent: 49 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to an unconscious male. Deputies arrived on scene with Santa Fe County Fire Department medical personnel. Life saving efforts were administered, but unsuccessful. No signs of foul play were observed. The Office of the Medical Examiner (OMI) were contacted and responded to the scene.

Arrested: Renee Mendiola, 56 YOA female, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a motor vehicle collision. Deputies contacted the driver and observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Arrested: Leo Petry, 31 YOM
Deputies were called in reference to a male yelling at neigbors and making threats. Upon investigation, male was placed under arrest and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
