Deputies contacted Edson during a welfare check. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Stolen: 2000, Bumper Pull Trailer (NM-16400TRF

The victim advised someone stole his 2000 model, home made / custom built, 10 foot long trailer. The unknown person(s) entered the property by cutting the chain link fence next to the padlock on the gate. This occurred sometime between October 4, 2025 and October 18, 2025.


Case #2025006672 / Aggravated Burglary - Larceny - Criminal Damage / 11/14/2025

Victim: 61 YOA

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a burglary. The victim reported between June and July 2025, unknown individuals gained unlawful entry in the residence and stole multiple firearms. Value is estimated at $1,550.00.

Victim called dispatch, suspect struck the victim in the face with a container of sour cream, suspect was arrested. 


Case #2025006662/Larceny/11-13-2025

Location: Rancho Las Acequias, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: BMC Alpine E-Bike

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, deputies made contact with a victim who advised their above mentioned e-bike was stolen. This occurred on Friday, November 7, 2025. The bike is white in color with black lettering. It was entered into NCIC as stolen.


Case #2025006661/Burglary/11-13-2025

Location: Camino Don Fidel, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: Lantern and Misc. Hand Tools

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, deputies responded to the above area in reference to an after the fact burglary. Contact was made with the victim and they advised unknown person(s) gained unlawful entry into a residence and stole the above mentioned items. This was alleged to have occurred in September 2025. This case remains under investigation.


Case #2025006665/Aggravated Battery/11-13-2025

Location: 100 Blk. Camino De Roberto, Espanola, NM

Suspect: Two Unknown Persons

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, deputies responded to the above area to assist the Santa Fe County Fire Department. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a male who advised he was walking in the area when two individuals struck him in the face with an unknown object. This caused the male's nose to bleed. There is no available description of the suspects. Case remains under investigation.


2025006643/Child Abuse/11-12-2025

Location: Gallina Peak, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Melissa Shelley, 41 YOF

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, deputies responded to the Santa Fe Police Department for a report of an abuse of a child. Deputies arrived on scene and they made contact with contact with all parties. Based off the investigation, it was found that the above suspect had physically abused two children. The suspect was placed under arrest and she was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. She was booked without incident.


Case #2025006617 Criminal damage to the property of a household member

Location: 2800 block NM 14, Madrid

Summons: Austin Peterson, 26 YOA male, Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Deputies were advised the victim and suspect were in an argument. During the argument the suspect grabbed the victim’s phone and broke it to prevent her from calling 911. A summons was issued for the suspect.
