A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for failing to maintain it's lane of travel. Driver displayed signs of impairment, and was arrested for DWI. Subsequent to arrest, a search was conducted of the driver and a small baggie of cocaine was located. Driver was transported and booked at the Santa Fe ADC.

Deputies responded to the above location regarding a missing person. The reporting party advised her father-in-law missing. It was reported that Mr. Romero left his residence, and then showed up at his daughter's house in Rio Rancho, NM, where he was last seen. Mr. Romero left both residences unannounced and it is unknown if he is in the Rio Rancho area or headed back to Santa Fe. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, a blue vest, and a black and red colored "Michael Meyers" ball cap, and has early stages of dementia. Mr. Romero was last seen driving a white 2012 Hyundai Sonata with license plate NM_RWZ784

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. The victim reported the above mentioned vehicle was parked in his driveway and was last seen at approximately 9:00 pm on Monday, September 9, 2024. Between the hours of 9:00 pm and 8:00 am on September 10, 2024, the vehicle was stolen.

On the above date, Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a male who was not conscious and not breathing. Deputies conducted CPR until medical units arrived on scene. Life-saving measures were unsuccessful, there were no signs of foul play, and OMI was contacted.
