Santa Fe County Bond Questions
The 2026 General Election ballot includes four Santa Fe County general obligation bond questions. Review the proposed projects and official ballot language below.
GO Bond Funded Projects
Roads
Projects are focused on improving critical infrastructure and enhancing safety and reliability for the community. Improvements include upgrades to drainage systems, replacing low-water crossings with all-weather crossings to improve year-round access, and targeted paving improvements to extend the life and usability of roadways.

- La Joya Road Improvements
- Ojo de La Vaca Improvements
- Chupadero Road Improvements
- General Goodwin Road Imrovements (NM 14 to Rail Trestle)
Water & Wastewater
Projects include the development of green stormwater infrastructure to better manage and capture stormwater runoff, the creation of a bulk water station for reclaimed water, and improvements to the County's potable water system to replace infrastructure that has reached the end of its useful life.

Open Space & Trails
Projects are focused on enhancing existing County parks and expanding recreational opportunities throughout the community. Improvements include upgrades to park facilities and amenities, along with the creation and extension of several trails to improve connectivity and provide additional opportunities for walking, biking, and outdoor recreation.
- Santa Fe River Greenway Trail (Section C) (Caja del Oro Grant Road to Cottonwood Drive)
- Santa Fe River Greenway Trail (Section D) (Cottonwood Drive to Constellation Drive)
- NM14 Turquoise Trail Extension – Phase 2 (599 to Arroyo Hondo Trail)
- Romero Park - Ball Field Lights
Fire Stations
Projects include the construction of a new fire station and renovations to existing fire stations to enhance safety, functionality, and operational capabilities. These investments will improve facilities for fire and emergency response personnel while supporting more efficient and effective emergency services for the community.
